The first game of the season and it's against our rivals. I am not prepared, but I know that we will do great. The team has been conditioning and practicing together for the past two months now.

"Are you ready kids?" The coach kneels in front of us and tells us about different strategies and methods we will use during the game. "Take it away Blake."

"Okay you heard coach, it's time to put up or shut up," I say. "Are we gonna lose to a bunch of fools out there!"

"No," the team yells.

"Have we worked our asses off?"

"Hell yeah," the team says.

"Let's get out and start this season off right."

We finish our pump-up session and start getting ready for the game. We have about 5 minutes before the game starts. I run out towards the bleachers to make sure the girls got here okay.

"Grace," I yell to my twin sister.

"Good luck out there. Ademas sigo yendo a esa fiesta," she yells across the field. (Spanish Translation: Also I am still going to that party!)

Yes, my twin sister and I are half-American half Spanish. My dad is from Spain. My mom is American but still has some Spanish roots because of her ancestors.

Gracie used Spanish because she didn't want anyone catching her mentioning a party. All the little kids and old people here would give her looks.

I give her a devious smirk and head back into the field house.

The crowd is going crazy right now. It is currently half time and we are strategizing our next moves.

"We are going to have to execute the short right formation and the short right dive perfectly in these next couple of minutes," the coach says.

"Yes sir," we all say.

"Blake, and Bryce you two will switch spots." Coach puts a hand on my helmet. "Can you catch son?"

"Hell yes I can, now let's get back out there and win this thing," I say.

"Let's do it as a team, understand," Coach says.

"Yes sir," we all yell.

"Alright folks the Phoenix's are down by four with 20 seconds left in the game," the announcer says.

"We all need to be in the same head space for this one, I don't care what the coach is saying. Bryce let's switch back. It will be the ex-pick, TB one on one. Ready." We all clap and leave the huddle getting on the line.

"Here we go here we go," the crowd chants.

"43 watch 43," I yell. "Set hut!"

"Sanchez drops back. Lairs going wide to the left."
