Mahina akong natawa. “Enemies don’t help each other.” I witnessed how his eyeballs rolled upon hearing my statement. “Beside, you don’t consider me your enemy,” I said confidently na naging dahilan ng pagkalukot ng mukha niya.

“Says who?”

“Your face says everything.” I never thought na magagamit ko rin ang linyahan ni sir Lexus. This is amazing. “If you see me as your nemesis, you shouldn’t have offered yourself to be my mentor.”

I accidentally hauled my gaze toward his eyes and was unconsciously stuck on it. Something tickles from inside my tummy while I continue to meet his baffling stares—kailangan ko na bang uminom ng anti-worm capsule?

“What if…” He always does this sort of thing, but hindi ko magawang masanay. Every time he tends to move closer, my heart begins to thump like crazy. I wonder why?

“What if?” pag-uulit ko sa sinabi niya.

“What if nagpapanggap lang akong mabait sayo? What if I have a hidden agenda that would make you feel disappointed in the end?”

I swallowed hard while processing his words in my head.

I lied. Sa totoo lang, naniniwala ako sa kanya. Without any reason, I trust this guy. He may not be the nicest person I’ve met, but he is one of a kind.

People say he has a bad temper, is dangerous, and is a malevolent creature. But in my eyes, siya lang si Grey is the guy who owns multiple personalities. He can be goofy, cheeky, and serious at times. Mahilig siyang manglait, and he is an expert in pointing out the flaws of others. He enjoys hitting my forehead and threatening me with his simple actions. He can smirk, grin, and even laugh like a devil, but he knows how to smile like a real human.

I’ve been observing him for some time now; he takes steps differently from other normal students. The president of the Supreme Student Government, whose head is full of air, The leader of the journalism team is strict and straightforward with his demands. The top students of Sevelanio have great knowledge of so many things. That is how he is—he appears to be dangerous based on the words of others, but kung sila mismo ang tatayo sa harapan niya, they would feel the same thing I experienced while looking into his green eyes.

“It makes sense,” he said, smiling.

“What makes sense?”

He placed his palm on the left side of his chest as he took a deep breath. “I need a doctor’s prescription,” aniya bago nag-umpisang lumakad pasulong.

“I warned you before,” mariin nitong sabi na ikinalukot ng mukha ko. I don't really like her.

I let out a heavy sigh before turning around to face her. “What do you want this time? Are you going to teach me to hate that guy?” Pabalang kong tanong na ikinangisi niya.
