The next day after leaving Hikari's forest I got another mission from the higher ups about a demon in, you guessed it, ANOTHER FOREST! Frankly I was getting tired of going to the same terrains over and over again, but I got no choice as I arrived at the forest, I noticed the Denseness of it. Not quite like Hikari's forest, but definitely similar
Y/n: definitely ambush material...
As I explored the forest I came across a camp site, the camp site had a campfire that was recently put out, tents that were ripped apart, and blood on the tents
Y/n: guess I'll just have to wait. It's not flamboyant but I have no other option
As I waited for the sun to set, I explored the campsite and the area around it to search for a dead body or anything that can lead me to the demon or give me a hint of what I'm up against. Soon, The sun finally sets and darkness spreads around me, the only thing I was able to hear was the sound of crickets and leaves swaying due to the wind and soon the bushes behind me rustled. I turn around and to be met with the face of a young man, the same height as I am, no shirt which shows his slender but lean and muscular physique and black pants. He also had light brown eyes but the most distinctive features were his spiky pink hair pushed up front, the two additional eyes under his much bigger ones, the tattoos on his forehead nose, cheeks, upper body, and abdomen. Written On the 3rd and fourth eyes under his first two were the words lower on his left and three on his right.
Demon: Huh? *squints eyes*
The Demon then proceeds to throw a finger in it's mouth and chewed on it
Demon: clothing..*swallows*.You part of that annoying ass Demon Slayer corps thing or something?
Y/n: *smiles* yup! The name's Y/n the flashy king of festivals!
Demon: *sneers* ugh! I hate hearing you humans speak, it's such a bother honestly..
I immediately lost my smile and got in a fighting stance. It was then the demons turn to smile as he got into a fighting stance as well

Demon: a demon slayer who uses his fists instead of a sword. I like that. Now let's do this!
In a split second the demon disappears, leaving behind a short afterimage before he appears midair behind Y/n and diving down with his fist. The demon having a maniacal smile on his fist until he feels some weight on his back
Y/n: It's so nice out tonight, don't you think?
Y/n had dodged the demons attack and swiftly appeared behind it, sitting on it's back.
Y/n: I haven't met a demon with as strong hand-to-combat as you before
The demon immediately twisted out of the position and lunged towards Y/n with his left hand sent forward and his claws out but Y/n simply caught his hand and disappeared, causing the demon to fall. He then reappeared behind the demon as he lunged at him again, this time jumping at him before twisting into a kick as Y/n disappeared and reappeared a few more time as the demon kept wildly attacking him. Y/n then leaned against the demons back and whispered in his ear
