Evil is a matter of opinion,
History is proof of this,
When everyone feeds their own ambitions,
And the power causes listlessness.
Hope is just a concept,
A security blanket if you will,
When lies are told by the honest,
When they throw you down that hill.
Madness is not a disease,
It naturally occurs,
It can be succumbed to with ease,
And makes the affected seem absurd.
Love can be a special kind of hell,
Although some try to deny,
It leaves you as a wasted well,
A product of all their lies.
Salvation is just a beautiful fable,
Designed to control the masses,
A concept given to the corrupted deemed worthy,
While the rest of us fall on our asses.
We need to think for ourself,
and look toward the future,
We can rise from what we built, this hell,
Be your savior, your own suture.
