It's been a half a year since a new lord had been chosen.
One even the shogun and all other lord's feared.
He had won the war and united the kingdom by himself and a small number of men.

Now six months later he has been given authority and land above anyone except the shogun.

He walks the town with his guard today again and the servant reports to him about the lord's wishes.

"For what reason do they wanna see me?"
While he walks around town he noticed a commotion and stops, though he doesn't interfere if it's something they can handle themselves.

"Marriage talks ofcourse"
He and his aid continue to speak about affairs of the month.

"Who is it who wants to sell their kin this time ?"
His focus shift to his right hand man by his side.
A ninja clothes in black with long raven hair.

"The chief of ninja in the east he has to daughters
One is sickly but the other is a lively Young woman.
'Good for baring children.'
In his words."

"Stupid perverted Old geezer."
Gabimaru clicks his tongue, disturbed by the man.

"Her name is Yuzuriha
I heard she's quite the catch"
His aid continues.

"If I refuse?"
The commotion in town had dissolved.
Had they noticed him standing there?
He'd wonder who he had to blame for it.

"They might be killed because of their uselessness to their clan
Nothing is more important than winning you over that the moment
It's everyone's top priority."
A smiles that would creep anyone out spears on his retainers face.

"What makes you think I'd care?"

"Gabimaru sama!!!"
Ah, it must have been this person that made them notice.
She was a taller maiden, taller than most women, also taller than him .
Except when she grovelled.

She kneels, her head completely on the dirt road.
"Please safe my sister!!!"

"What makes you think I'd help you."
His voice cold , like winter came and a cold wave washed over them, halting any further conversation.

"..." She is silent for a while before she starts again, thinking.
"I have already told the executor that the lord would help us.
This is your honour that's at stake."

"HOW DARE YOU"

The Shinobi makes one wave with his hand and the raven haired is on the ground within a second, pinned down by shadow guards.
He comes closer to her And grabs her face.

"I'll have you killed for insulting my Lord and trying to manipulate him with your words"

"That's enough"

"My Lord?"

"We have company."

"How annoying.
Looks like a troublesome guests has made their way way here"

While they were distracted with the woman kneeling in front of them, enemies appear out of the bushes and surrounded them.
"Look out!!!"
She shouts but Gabimaru doesn't move.
Instead the blade breaks on his chest leaving him without injury.

"Oh"
She was halfway over to him but stopped.

Behind her his aid had already cleaned up the scenes.
It was just the three of them again.

"Are you their accomplice?"
He asked.

"No I have more important things to worry about
I need your help.
Why would I want you killed?
Instead please live!"

He looks suprised at the woman's words and turns his back, walking towards a body.
Throws a enemy sword at her.

"Fight for yourself and find a solution for own problems"

"Wha-

He turned his back on her  again and leaves to his estate.

"Please wait"

The aid slaps her across her cheek , turning it red*

The slap was so hard she was sent flying a few meters being knocked unconscious for a few minutes.

A few minutes after she wakes up*

"What should I do now... Brother,...Yui chan?
How can I say you?
Is there no other way?"

She looks down, her raven hair now lose on her back from the scuffle.
She is looking at the sword in it's sheet.
She gets up binding her hair again and dusting herself off and picking up her blade.

"Fine then.
Some lord you are.
Your true nature is nothing like what they say!"
