Alexander sat at his desk in Estelle Manor. He was designing a floral shop. Malak had agreed to open a garden center, and tasked him with designing the building. He would certainly be buying a rose bush the minute Malak officially opened it. Calculations here. Measurements, and material choices there. He had to take everything into account. He never constructed a floral shop before. He was more accustomed to theaters, and schools. This was all new territory. Still how hard could it be? He got half way through the wall dimensions till he gave a yawn. Maybe some tea could keep him awake.
He walked into the parlor seeing his roommates enjoying some tea. He grabbed a cup and saucer. He poured a cup, and walked in the direction of his study. "Alexander have a seat." Judas pat the seat next to him wanting to have more company. He looked at the others and held a hand up. "Sorry, I have to finish this floral shop. I don't have time." The others were concerned. He killed a mortal earlier that day, and went right back to work. The others knew he was working himself distracted. The younger Bishop brother looked over to the others and whispered. "Somebody stop him." Heinrich was the hero that grabbed the young man's shoulders. Alexander was too tired to fight back. He was sat down next to Judas, and they put his tea down. There was no point in caffeinating him. He was already to his physical limit of staying awake.
Hedwig saw him try to get up and pushed him back down using his cane to shove him back. "You are to overworked, boy. It's time you took a break. You're already over half finished, and he doesn't need the blueprints for another two months." Alexander sneered. "Don't you call me boy. I'm your elder! Hedwig smirked. Sure he died at an older age than Hedwig did, but Hedwig, and even Haytham were older than their roommate. Heinrich took out his notepad started writing and placed the notepad in his hand. "I know Malak can wait, but I don't want to stop working. I feel comfortable if it's done. I'm better working in there than wasting time out here." Hugo knew what Alexander was doing. He was distracting himself to keep the memories of war at bay. He decided to pull a trick on the poor ex soldier. He grabbed a cup and slipped a little something in to help him relax.
Judas saw the stunning move, and smirked. "Very well Alexander. You win, but just one cup of tea." He slid the cup his direction knowing the downer that Hugo slipped in would put him out in no time. Alexander reached for it with victory spread over his barely conscious face. He drank it smiling to all his roommates as they smiled back. He made his way back to his desk and lifted a paper, but it was now even harder to stay awake.
He woke up slightly to the feeling of hands being placed on his shoulders. He was so tired that he couldn't even open his eyes to see who was helping him up. He felt his palms getting raised up, signaling he had to get on his two feet. He could only feel along the hallway, and felt whoever was leading him pulled him to his room. He heard the blanket in front of him be pulled back as he was led in front of his bed. "I can't sleep in bed. Please... my chair." The person helping him ignored it. All he did was undress him till he was comfortable enough to sleep without being smothered by his clothes. He was led down, to sit on his bed, and his mystery helper led his head back against a pillow. They covered him up and blew out the candles.
