The three of them laughed. 'I kinda didn't.'
Quinn shrugged. 'It was a good way to get off the suspect list. Stab Gale Weathers, stab Mindy on the train..that sort of thing.'

'Mindy.' I whispered.

'Yeah and I made sure I was the first one on the scene so I could switch her body up with a fresh one.' Officer Bailey added. 'Little fake blood, a prosthetic; you'd be amazed what a grieving father could get away with.'

Ethan & Quinn made their way into opposite directions cornering the sisters. 'I got Stu Macher's mask, he was my favorite.' Quinn said holding up the mask. Ethan put Nancy's mask on the mannequin gently.

' That's two.' Bailey muttered before pulling out a third. 'This was your father's. This is what we've been counting down to Sam. I'm gonna need you to put it on.' He demanded.

'Fuck you!' Sam suddenly yelled smacking Billy Loomis' mask out of his hands. Ethan lunged at her swiping his blade against her arm.

'You stay the fuck away from her!' Tara threatened holding her protectively.

Sam held onto her wound, looking at every Ghostface before her. 'You did this as a family?'
Sam questioned.

'Oh yeah, bitch. You should know better than anyone!' Quinn stated holding up the knife.

'They're still not getting it!' Ethan grinned.

'Get what' Tara mumbled.

Suddenly it clicked. Dad, Family. They wanted 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞. The only person Sam has killed before.

'Look, I don't know what you believe, but I didn't commit those murders in Woodsboro, it wasn't me!' Sam stated.

'C'mon Sam get the hint please' I whispered.

'Oh, we know that! Of course, we did! What do you think: this is based on some bullshit conspiracy theory? Come on! Who do you think started the rumors about you in the first place?' Officer Bailey explained while Quinn raised her hand proudly.

'Do you know how easy it was to turn Sam into the hero of Woodsboro into the villain?' Quinn admitted. 'How easy it is to convince the world to believe the worst in people, rather than the best?'

'Because it's not enough to kill someone these days.' Ethan finished. 'You have to assassinate the character first. So, when Dad here discovers your horribly mutilated body, wearing her father's mask? He'll say you're the real Ghostface that took matters into their own deluded hands!'

'Exactly! That's why it's the perfect alibi! And all the best lies are based on the truth.' Officer Bailey pointed at Sam. 'You're a killer, just like your father...'

'No, I'm not!' Sam interrupted.

'Yes, you are, you motherfucker! You killed our brother.' Quinn screamed.

'You said your brother died in a car accident.'
Tara said.
