Kel slept soundly, feeling warm, and happy that sunny was snuggling him as they both slept,

When kel woke up he had to get water, when he tried to get up he was pulled on by someone wanting him to stay, sunny.

"Can you stay for a bit longer?" Sunny looked up at him

Kel smiled warmly and lie back down, hugging sunny, sunny slightly blushed as he tried to go back to sleep for a bit. As both of the two boys were drifting back off into sleep, they were woken up by aubrey and basil, kel put on his best 'just got up tired' face and voice

"Morning, guys" he smiled his usual goofy smile as he yawned

"Goodmorning, kel! Is sunny still asleep?" Basil asks as he makes his bed

Kel looks down at sunny, now sound asleep, kel blushed slightly and ruffled sunnys hair

"Yeah, ill stay till he gets up!" Kel smiles

"Dont start kissing when we leave" aubrey jokes

"AUBREY" Kel puts his face into his palms, overwhelmed with blush.

"Im joking, or am I?" Aubrey smirks as she puts on a hoodie

Kel still has his face in his palms but manages to mutter just loud enough for the 2 to hear

"You better be joking, emo pinkie pie."

Aubrey rolls her eyes sarcastically,

"Yeah, I'm joking." She ties her hair into a ponytail

"Anyways have fun with your boyfriend, I mean sunny. I'm getting breakfast, you in basil?"

"Coming, aubrey!" Basil walks out the door, following aubrey, shutting the door silently behind him, leaving sunny and kel alone

Kel looks down at sunny another time, admiring his closed eye, and the eyepatch on his left eye, his dark hair. Kel puts his hand on sunnys hair,

"Sleep well, sunshine" he smiles

"Sunshine?" He hears a voice, it was sunny

"YOUR AWAKE?!" Kel scoots back in embarrassment, blushing hard

Sunny laughs a bit as he sits up

"Your yelling at aubrey woke me up" he laughs

Kel looks at sunny being happy, he smiles too, and joins in on the laughter.

"Wanna go get some breakfast? I'm pretty hungry." Kel says as he finishes laughing, his blush dying down

"Yeah I don't think my legs are going anywhere, can you carry me, pleaseeee" sunny begs

(A.N: I am not making sunny an uwu soft boy like some people make him, BUT he does have the tism and childhood trauma so let him be silly 😋)

"Fine, you won, this time," kel rolls his eyes and scoops sunny up

"Next stop, breakfast!" Kel smiles, he looks down at sunny, smiling brightly, kel blushes and so does sunny.

Kel opens the door and walks down the hall and Into the two front rooms, he is awaited by basil and aubrey eating some scrambled eggs and hashbrowns,

"Goodmorning, boys, did you sleep well?" Polly asks from the kitchen

"I slept well," sunny smiled slightly

"Same" kel followed

"Would you like some breakfast?" Polly says as she points to the eggs cooking,

"Yes please!" Kel gleams as he gently puts sunny down

The two go sit down at the table and get served their food,

"So you sure you guys aren't like, dating or anything" aubrey jokes

Sunny blushes and looks down at his food, avoiding all eye contact.

The silence is loud, and extremely awkward
But basil, being basil, wanted to break the silence

"So...how did everyone sleep...?" He spoke awkwardly

"I slept ok, that couch is pretty comfy" aubrey yawned as she ate more of her eggs

"I slept, pretty good I'd say" kel replied awkwardly back.

. . .

No one said anything

"How about you, sunny?" Basil smiled awkwardly and looked at sunny

Sunny raised his head and spoke up

"Uhh..ok I guess" he muttered

"Thank you so much for breakfast, polly!" Kel gleamed as he put his plate by the sink

"Oh your welcome, kel!" Polly adds back happily, smiling

She was thanked by everyone else, the kids went into basil's room to pack up their stuff

Kel packed his, aubrey packed hers.

"Thanks for letting me borrow your shirt, kel" sunny smiled

"You can just keep it, I don't use that one as much" he smiled back

Sunny and kel smiled at eachother and blushed, looking back at their stuff

"Alright, I'm gonna go, thanks for having me , basil" aubrey walks out of the room and waves goodbye to polly and thanks her for having her over

"Bye, aubrey!" Basil smiled 

"I think I'm gonna go, too" kel smiled

"Same here!" Sunny lightly smiled

"Alright! Bye sunny, bye kel!" Basil waved goodbye

"Want me to walk you home?" Kel asked sunny

"I wouldn't mind...yeah.." sunnys gaze softened as he blushed

"Alright!" Kel blushed back

(Sunny pov)

I walk down the street with kel, we're talking about stuff, like cats in stuff

"So, how was your time at home?" Kel asked as he looked down at me

"Oh...yeah it was ok..it would've been a bit more fun if you were there.." I reply

"You..like being around me?" His eyes widen as he blushes, he makes it obvious when he does 

"....y-yeah. I suppose I do" I awkwardly reply back as I scratch my head

"Well, I like being around you, too!" He smiles and blushes

Its silent for a second

Kel suddenly starts to chase me, he begins to laugh

"LAST ONE TO YOUR HOUSE IS A ROTTEN EGG!" he laughs

"GET BACK HERE!!" I yelled as I chase after him

We laugh as we both chase echother to my house.

Kel pants as he says

"Well, guess you won, so, see you later?" He says

"Yeah!" I catch my breath,

I walk up to my houses door as I wave bye to him.

I run up the stairs and flop down on my bed, I don't know what happened, but it made me so happy,

I ended up falling asleep,
