The next night, I went back to the small garden. I sat at the fountain alone.

Serene wasn't with me. She was back at home. She wanted to be with me, but I told her that I want to be alone. Serene understand, and told me to be safe. I know it's night and crazy shit happens, so I brought a pocket knife with me to defend myself. I hear someone coming. 'Oh, perfect timing.' I took out my pocket knife and click it. I grip the handle. I wanted to stand up, though I don't want to get attacked. Then I hear a familiar male's voice.

"Hi, (Y/N)."

I raise a brow. "Who are you?"

"It's me. I'm the person who visited you last night. If... you remember..."

Oh. Jerry. Now I remember. I lower my knife. "Oh, it's you. Hi." He didn't respond. I guess he've notice the weapon I was holding. "(Y/N), what's that for?" I put the knife away. "Nothing. For my safety." I reply. "If it was for your safety, then why are you out here alone—" I stand up and shout. "Look, damnit! I said it was for my safety, okay?!" He didn't say anything else. Well, that should shut him up. No offense. I should've never did that. He's too kind. But then again... Jerry may be dangerous.

"I apologize. I didn't mean to... 'unleash' my inner... whatever." I didn't want to say demons. "No, dear. I... understand..." he said. Hm. Didn't like the sound of that. "But why are you out here by yourself around this time of the night?" I sit back down and sigh. "This is my... favorite place..." I hear him coming closer to me. "You come here often?"

I nod. "Yes. More than often."

"I see. Where's Charley?" Oh no. Is he planning on attacking Charley again? Pretending not to know his evil plans, I shrug. "Probably out somewhere. Why?"

"Nothing. Thought I've asked."

I raise a brow. "What for?" Jerry doesn't answer. I know why. He probably knows that I know what he's doing. I may be blind, but I'm not stupid or naive. I wait for his answer. "To talk to him. Why?" I chuckle a bit. "Hm. Thought I've asked." I hear him hum. I look up. I see his blurred silhouette in front of me. He stared down at me. I tried my best to not be scared. I look away. "Can you not do that, Jerry? That's creepy..." "Oh. I'm sorry, dear." he said. He moves and sit next to me.

"May I ask you something?" I hear him ask. I turn my head to him. "Do you know something about me?" I shook my head. "No. Since you're new around this area, I don't know that much about you..." I close my eyes, feeling sad.

"Has Charley told you anything about me at all?"

He has... but I'm not gonna tell you. "Not as far as I know. Charley hasn't told me anything... about you."

"Hm. I'm rather surprised. Thought that... 'fool' would've told you about me already." Frowning, I stand up and face him. "Look, man! What is your beef with him, huh?! If I had my sight right now, I'd smack the f— Oh my god..." My foul mouth. Good thing I've paused. I regret what I've said, but he deserved it. Somewhat. My eyes water. "I... I gotta go." I grab my cane. Before I can leave I felt a hand gently grab my wrist. I stop. "No, don't. I didn't mean it, (Y/N). But... Charley called the police on me." Hm. Not surprised. You probably were doing something suspicious... "Called the police on you? What the hell were you doing???"

"Nothing, dear." Hm. Just nothing? I find that very hard to believe.

"You're lying, Jerry. Aren't you?" I say.

"No. No, (Y/N). Believe me. Charley was just messing with me. He's been bothering me for the past few days ever since I've moved here. He's been spying on me. Watching me. He... he won't leave me alone..." Charley has been bothering him for days? And this so-called 'vampire' has been bothering him too? Just what the hell is going on here? "Why haven't you told his mother if he keeps bothering you so much? I would've done that."

"I just don't want his mother involved in this..."

What the... What is he talking about??? Aggravated, I frown and shook my head. "Are you and Charley are in some type of beef, Jerry? If so, just fucking say that. You're really pissing me the fuck off." He sigh. "No, (Y/N). It's not beef. It's just... He wouldn't leave me alone from the start..." So Charley started this first. I don't know what is up with Jerry, but he also attacked Charley. And these two guys have been at it back and forth for how long??? In all honesty, this is really unnecessary and embarrassing. "God, you two are straight cowards." I sigh and put my head down, wanting to cry. I felt a hand touch my shoulder.

"Look. I'm very sorry if I angered you. I really am. It's all Charley's fault, dear. And I'm sorry he got you into the middle of this."

You know something that's weird? Out of the whole conversation, Jerry keeps saying Charley's name. And mentions about him a lot. Also picking on him. Does he have feelings or a possible crush on him??? That might be what it is. I would laugh and joke at that but I'm not in the mood. I softly touch his hand.

With my other arm, I lift it. "It's... It's alright, Jerry. Just... take me home."

The two of us arrive to my home.

He leads me up to my doorstep. "Thanks for... walking me home..." "Anytime, (Y/N)." I hear Jerry reply. I nod a little. I wanted to ask him something but I don't want to get irritated again. "Well, good night." I say.

"Till we meet again."

I hear him leave. I sigh. 'About time...'
