It was Thursday and the fourth day of the school term and Sam (short for Samantha) the school leader was waiting at the gate with Ruby to wait for the new girl to arrive so that they could show them around and introduce them to the school. Just a moment after the two had reached the entrance of the school a wagon arrived and from the wagon jumped down a girl with long scarlet hair braided beautifully down her back. She adjusted her uniform and took out of the wagon an old leather satchel and adjusted it across her body before taking from the cart a larger fabric bag containing all of her clothes and belongings. As she waved off the cart with her family in it she turned to the two girls who were awaiting her, who at this point appeared to be stunned still by her hair and now that they could see them her piercing emerald green eyes.
The girl introduced herself as Kaede, Ruby after being spoken to came to her senses and replied to Kaede with her own introduction and the two shook hands. After this exchange Sam also introduced herself as both Sam and the schools student leader she then continued on welcoming manner "Ruby and I will be touring and introducing you to the school, Ruby is here because you're her new dorm roommate and the two of you will be spending a lot of time together."
Ruby turned to face Sam quickly "WAIT she's my new roommate, why didn't you tell me," she exclaimed.
"Is there something wrong with that?" inquired Sam.
"No not at all it's just a wasn't expecting someone so pretty and composed."
Kaede smiled and began to laugh at the last comment made by Ruby. She suggested that they begin the tour because she really wanted to see what the school was like.
A while passed the tour had commenced and concluded and the three were heading to the dorms to help Kaede unpack and settle in. It was a quick unpacking only taking out the necessary because the three really should be off to their classes they giggled on the way back down from the dorm until they went their separate ways. School had finally begun for the year and these new found friends were exited to see what would be to come.
