My Sister Jessie (DISCONTINUED)

Chapter 9

I walk down stairs as slowly as I could until Luke bumped into me and we both fell down the stairs

"I'm so sorry" he says as I lift my head from his warm chest, stop Josey ! You can't like Luke you don't even know him! I smile at him "no it's my fault I was in the way" I say and get off of him and help him up

"No it was my fault I should've been looking to see if anyone was on the stairs" he says and I swear in that moment I could've passed out his eyes are so sparkly "ok how about it was nobody's fault!" Says a tiny voice "Zuri stay out of this" says Luke pushing his little sister towards the kitchen "man who got on up on the wrong side of the bed this morning?" She says and rolls her eyes and skips into the kitchen

"Sorry about that she can be a bit nosy sometimes" he says "no it's ok I wish I had a little sister " "what about Jessie she's your older sister?" "well we aren't really on good terms at the moment" I say "oh well I hope it works out" "me to" I say with a small smile "how about some breakfast?" He says and takes my hand and walks me into the kitchen

"Hey Josey you can sit next to me" says Emma I cringe because I know she doesn't really want me to sit next to her "sorry Emma but she is sitting next to me" says Luke and leads to a chair not beside Emma instead he sits next to her and then I sit next to him

"What are we having?" I ask as the smell of fresh cooked food feels my nose with satisfaction "bacon and eggs" says Bertrum as he brings everyone the plates "thank you" I say and begin to eat my eggs "what do you want to drink Josey?" Asks Bertrum I put my finger to my chin and say "orange juice please" he nods and then goes to the fridge and gets the Orange juice and then puts it in a nice clean clear glass and hands to me I smile and take a sip and then continue with my food

"Hey where is Jessie?" I ask as everyone starts to leave Emma gives me a glare Ravi gives me a small smile Zuri rolls her eyes and Luke gives me a big smile and shrugs and then they all leave "gee thanks for the help" I say

I sigh and begin to put all the kids dishes and mine in the sink I then walk out the kitchen

"What's that sound?" I say as a sound from behind a curtain catches my attention I pull the curtain back slightly and notice the sound was a movie and then I see her my sister and Tony curled up next to each other watching a movie

I pull the curtain closed and walk over to the couch I sit on it and sigh I cross my arms over my chest I groan in frustration "this trip is going swell" I say sarcastically.
