Amanda told me she loved me, and she meant it. She loved Marlon a different way, though.
It's been a year since then and today we danced in the rain and sang to our favorite song.
A year ago Marlon said, "I love you," to Amanda. She loved him back.
Yesterday I told Sue, "I love you."
She looked at me for moments that seemed too long, and finally she replied, "I love you, too."
Today I am holding Sue's hand, as Marlon is holding Amanda's. Gale and Rocky are falling in love.
Today we danced in the rain and sang to our favorite songs.
Today they will buy a new boombox, because today their boombox became very static-y while being drenched in the rain.
Tomorrow I will kiss her.
Tomorrow we will dance in the rain and sing to our favorite songs.
