Wei WuXian runs towards his ex-shidi ignoring the rocks that were falling.
"Wei Ying!"
Wei WuXian quickly takes out Chenqing (his ✨magical✨music tool).
"Wei. Ying! No!"
Lan WangJi was against what Wei WuXian does. It harms the body but whateverrr. Trying to protect his ex-shidi, he wacks the rocks away. He turns around after his name was called again and saw a fierce corpse running towards him. In the corner of his eyes, he sees Lan WangJi battling a hoard of corpses. Wei WuXian grits his teeth as Lan WangJi backs away to get Wei WuXian.
"Jiang Cheng, wake up!"
He shakes Jiang Cheng, trying to get him to wake up. He puts ChenQing on his mouth and starts to play a song. His eyes turn red. Wei WuXian leads the corpse around trying to get them away. He still had no idea why Jiang WanYin fainted. His 2 brain cells told him he should take Jiang WanYin and run away, but his guts told him he should stay and help Lan WangJi.
A painful screech filled the cave. Wei WuXian looks around, and sees Lan WangJi holding his abdomen with blood rushes out. Lan WangJi was kneeling. In panic he leaves Jiang WanYin and goes to Lan WangJi.
"Lan Zhan!? Are you okay!?"
"Jiang.. WanYin.."
Damn it. Wei WuXian forgot about Jiang WanYin. He can't decide if he should go to Jiang WanYin or stay with Lan WangJi. His eyes widened as he witnesses Jiang WanYin disappear as the corpse surround Jiang WanYin.
"Jiang Cheng!"
"Get Jiang WanYin."
"But- Lan Zhan!"
Lan WangJi pushes Wei WuXian to get Jiang WanYin. He never particularly liked Jiang WanYin, but this is a life of death situation. If Jiang WanYin dies, Wei WuXian will mourn for him. He would be sad all the time. Lan WangJi doesn't like it when Wei WuXian is sad, so he'd be sad too.
"WangJi!"
Look who came now! It's Lan XiChen.
"Xiong-Zhang!"
"Mo gong-zi, go protect WangJi. I'll protect Sect Leader Jiang."
*BATTLE INTENSIFY*
(*BURP* yea that's the fight cuz I cant write fight scenes. BY THE WAY, I FORGOT HOW TO WRITE SECT LEADER IN PING YING (YIN? WHAT?) SO LIKE MY CHINESE IS VERY BAD AND YKNOW, ITS GONNA BE WEIRD AND I DONT UNDERSTAND A SINGLE THING I RESEARCHED)
"I'll WangJi, Mo gong-zi, would it bother you if you carried Sect leader jiang?"
Wei WuXian shook his head. What did Lan XiChen think he was? Weak? I mean, he is but like, he's done it pretty much plenty of times. He laid Jiang WanYin on his back and started walking to find an exit. Lan XiChen carried Lan WangJi. By the time they got out, it was afternoon (like 2 days after afternoon).
"Mo gong-zi, should we go back to the gates of lotus pier?"
"I think it's the best idea, since it's the closest. Say, XiChen-ge, *wiggles eyebrows* do you got a thing for-,"
"MMMMM"
On instinct, for some reason, Jiang WanYin suddenly covers Wei WuXian's mouth, enabling him from finishing the sentence. Lan XiChen showed an awkward smile, as they continue to go to Lotus Pier.

As they arrive to lotus pier, many YunMeng disciples gave Wei WuXian a dirty stare. Wei WuXian just bites his lips and continue until they got to a office(hospital? IM BRAIN DEAD YALL). Lan XiChen gives a knock on the wooden door.
"Hello?"
"Oh, yes yes. Come in."
The nurse turns to the 2(or 4) people and her eyes widened. Her eyes twitched as she saw Wei WuXian, but she had to bite down her bitterness.
"What happened?"
Wei WuXian takes a deep breath and starts to explain the situation.
"So, me and Lan Zhan we wandering around in- I think YunMeng territory and we got stuck in a cave. I told Lan Zhan to try and send some message nearby, and thank goodness Jiang Cheng—,"
The nurse's eyebrow raised, unfamiliar with the way Wei WuXian was calling her sect leader.
"Ahem.. I meant Sect leader jiang received it, and i think he went to look for us. Me and Lan Zhan were fumbling over how we could get out— uhm, uhm.. and the ground started shaking. Then, rocks poured down and we heard a crack. We ignored it at first, till I saw Jian- Sect Leader Jiang. I believe his leg is broken."
The nurse let out a hum.
"Mmmhmmm. Care to explain why he has a huge gash on his LEFT (not right, yknow from the rock before) arm? Or did you fail as a Shi-Xiong again? Failing to protect your Shi-di? Didn't madam Yu-,"
"Ah, Jiang Lu Wei, you've said a little too much, I believe *whispers* WanYin wouldn't like you talking about Wei WuXian and madam Yu like that." Lan XiChen quickly cut in.
