Chapter 6: Your trip to another region (Part 1)

You've decided that that night you would go out and leave Xiao in peace.

Once he was asleep you pack a small bag and head out into and open field and lay with the Morax dragon plushie and watch the stars, before pong you fell asleep without realising. When you wake up you find yourself in someone's home, you don't know who or where you are.

You look for your bag and plush before trying to escape through a window before realising your no longer in Liyue. Looking out the window you knotice it was too foresty looking to be Liyue. Before you could jump out the window someone grabs you.

"Woah, watch what your doing, you could harm yourself more than you are already" A voice said from behind, as you turned around a man with tall ears and a tail flashes a small smile at you. "I'm Tighnari, a group of hilichurls seemed to have you captive and were dragging you around." He continued.

You get down and stand in front of him, looking down. Scared on why he has animal features. "Your not a furry right?" You ask while looking at him in worry. "Of course not, I'm a forest ranger and I protect animals." He says, you sigh in relief before reaching out and gently caressing his ears. He leans into your touch and you look at him surprised.

"Wow, your ears are so fluffy!" You say with a smile before letting go. Tighnari nods and smiles before rambling on about how he makes them look and feel soft, you don't pay attention and instead glance around the room before finding a girl who was laying sleeping.

"Who's she?" You said pointing at the girl. "Oh, that's Collei, she's an amazing girl but she's been through a lot and I'm currently been trying to help her as much as I can." He said not knoticing how close you got to her. You slightly shook her, trying to wake her up but instead you startled her to the core. "Wahh!" Collei yelled. "Ah, good grief, you don't even listen to a word I say!" Tighnari yelled, clearly it was aimed at you but you didn't care.

"Sorry I didn't mean to scare you, I'm Y/N!" You hold your hand out and smile, Collei never shook your hand. You sat by her bed and smiled at her, clearly wanting her attention more than Tighnari's.

"Let's be friends!" You said still trying to get her to interact with her. She just looked scared and upset. You frown and try to hug her. "Don't touch me!" She yells. You jolt away and you feel your eyes water. Tighnari places his hand on your head. "It's not your fault, don't worry." He said as he gently carresed your head.

Later that night you sat on the edge of a small river and stared into the river thinking about how many times you've tried calling Xiao. Maybe he was finally happy you left, maybe he didn't want you in his life anymore, maybe he hated you after the accident. You cried at that river for hours.

Tighnari came out looking for you, eventually finding you.

"There you are! I've been looking everywhere for you. I thought another group of hilichurls stole you away." He said in a small joking manner before sitting beside you and placing his hand on your further away shoulder. "Tomorrow I can take you home" He said with a smile.

"But, what if they don't want me back.." You said still crying. "If who doesn't want you back?" He asked.

"What if HE doesn't want me back..." You said as you closed your eyes and rested against Tighnari. Tighnari stopped asking questions and frowned. "If they really love you and are true, they will want you back." He said with confidence.

You wake up that morning to strange sounds, getting up you see someone on top of Tighnari, not sure what was going on you ripped him off of Tighnari and shocked both of them. "Ah- Y/N... Your awake, ..Sleep well?" Tighnari said in a not so confident tone. The man who was on Tighnari stood up and glared down at you, so you glared up at him.

"And who is this?" He asked Tighnari. "She is a new friend I save, she's actually going home today!" He said with a smile but all you did was look down. "I'm Cyno, The General Mahamatra." He holds out his hand and you shake it while you glare at him, scaring Tighnari more than Cyno.

"L-Lets get you home shall we?" Tighnari suggested. You hesitantly nod. "Where are we anyways?" You asked. "Gandharva Vill" Cyno responds. "Wait where the hell is that!?" You say. "Gandharva Vill of course" Cyno said with a chuckle. Tighnari sighs at his remark.

"Do you mean region perhaps?" Tighnari asks. "Sure" You said with a shrug. "Then it will be Sumeru" He said as you stared at him as you start to panic. "S-Sumeru!?" You yelled and stumbled back, feeling light headed. "Y/N? Y/N!?" Tighnari said as Cyno caught you from falling.

A couple hours later Cyno pokes you a few times to see if you'll awaken and you slightly do. "X-Xiao, is that you?" "No its Cyno, and I pull the puns" Cyno replied as he poked your cheek. You pulled him in and hugged him, still thinking it was Xiao. Laying there as they tried everything to make you let go.

Once you finally getting up and found out that you had been cuddling with Cyno, you pushed him off the bed and pouted. Pissed off that it wasn't Xiao you curl up into a ball and sulk. "We really need to get you home and by your reaction, your not from Sumeru are you?" Tighnari said.

"No, I'm not from Sumeru and I want Xiao!" You yelled once again acting like a spoiled brat. "Grow up" Cyno said as he rolled his eyes. Before long a short boy with teal hair appeared before you, everyone in shock that he appeared before you in a flash.

(Litterally wrote over 1000 words in under an hour, it's 3am like help 😭 I need to get up early/07:00 for my Tamagotchi)
