Chapter 10

"Or what? You don't actually think you're a match for me, do you?" He smiles evily.

"Yes she can." Sam smirks.

"Quantonium has been successfully diverted to the bridge. Escape capsule ready for transport." The computer says.

"Like I told you before, you should've defeated me when you had the Quantonium. Have fun exploding!" He congradulated.

He started walking up the side of the wall up to the ship. I ran after him and jumped up and latched onto his back trying to pull him back down to the ground.

After a moment of a struggle he finally let go and we both went tumbling to the ground.

"Now open those doors squidward." I declared.

He didn't talk and after I punched him and kicked him a couple times and he landed on the ground he finally started to talk, "Even if I wanted to, I couldn't! That's what happens when you set a ship to self-destruct! Now we're all going to die! And there's nothing you can do about it... Avery and Sam." He protested.

"I wouldn't be so sure. And the name is Ginormico." I heard Sam say from behind me and the alien. He had a smirk plastered on his face and with a shot of the gun the was in his hand. He shot the glowing orb above and it fell down over him.

Before I could do anything to the alien he ran to the getaway ship, but when I was about to go after him the floor fell down on a 45 degree angle resulting in me sliding down and just barely was able to grab on.

A small explosion shook the pole I was holding onto and that was it.

I started free falling through the sky for what felt like forever, but only a second had passed.

A hand grabbed around my ankle and I was hanging upside down.

I looked up and saw Sam dangling by one hand.

He was no longer his normal height. He was back to being his fifty foot self. Which I had grown used to.

"Are you ok?" Sam yelled.

"Yeah! I think so." I yelled my reply as I looked up.

"Where's Monger?" He yelled.

"He said the only reason he wouldn't be here is if he was dead!" I yelled.

Another explosion happened and it startled Sam which he let go, and now we both were free falling in the air. He reached out for me and gripped around my waist and brought me into his chest and everything went dark.

Until he hit something metal. He groaned before letting me go and I rolled off his chest and landed on my butt next to him. Sam sat up and rubbed the back of his head.

"Or late!" Monger said happily while gripping my hand pulling me up.

"Did you by chance get to the guys?" I ask softly.

"You think you can get rid of us that easily, Archer?" I hear Links voice from by Sam's leg.

"Guys!" I yell with a huge smile on my face, before running over to them and wrapping my arms around them. They smile before making it a group hug.

"We are making a pit stop!" I hear Monger report over the intercom.

"Well that was something." Sam says sitting up against the wall.

"It sure was." I reply smiling up at him.

We landed and we all head out of the plane.

"There they are!" A women yells.

"Here they come!" Another lady yells.

Everyone in the crowd started cheering happily.

"Yeah!" Link called happily.

A group of women screamed at him.

"Oh, great." He sighs, but before long they all started jumping into his arms kissing his cheeks and he fell on the ground with a thud.

I laughed at that, wishing I had a camera to take a photo of that.

"Sammy!" I hear a familliar voice yell from the crowd.

Sam's face beamed with happiness when he saw his parents.

"Oh, Sam. Ever since you were a baby, I knew that someday... you would, ya know, save the Earth from an invasion from outer space." Wendy exclaimed.

"Thank you, but it wasn't just me, Mom." Sam explained and placed a hand around my shoulders. Which caused me to quietly gasp and I felt something rising up to my cheeks as he did that.

"Excuse me! Hello! Comin' through! How are you? Sam!" A girl wearing a newscaster outfit says walking up.

"Delilah?" Sam asked confuesed.

'Omg, it's his evil ex girlfriend.' I think to myself.

"Baby, I thought long and hard about what happened between us. And I want you to know... I forgive you for what happened." She explained.

"You forgive me?" He asks raising a brow.

"Of course. It wasn't your fault that I was unfaithful to our relationship and I wanted to ask if we could possibly get back together. And also I just got a call from New York. They offered me network. All I have to do is get an exclusive interview from you." SHe smiled.

"Really?" Sam asked.

"Yeah. I get my dream job and you get your dream girl. It's a win-win for Team us." She remarked.

'Is this bitch for real?' I think to myself.

"Delilah... that's amazing. Is the camera rollin'?" Sam asked.

I look at him with confusion written all over my face, he looked down at me and winked his eye at me, which meant he a plan.

'Oh my god.' I shake my head.

"Absolutely!" She stated.

"Good. Because I wouldn't want your fans to miss this. This is Sam Murphy, sayin', 'Goodbye, Delilah'!" He smiled picking her up and flipping her into the air.

She screamed as she came flying down closer to the ground. "B.O.B., could you...?" I ask him and he moved right under where she would fall and he swallowed her whole and than spit her out on the pavement.

"Delilah, you are a selfish jerk, and guess what? I've met someone else. She's lime green. She has 14 little chunks of pineapple inside her, and she's everything I deserve in life! I'm happy, now, Delilah, without you! It's over!" B.O.B yellled at her and shook a plate with jello on it in her face.

She screamed before grabbing her cameraman and fled the scene. I busted out in laughter at her and Sam also chuckled a little bit.

"Monsters, I'm so proud of you, I could cry, if I hadn't lost my tear ducts in the war. But not cryin' will have to wait. The world needs you again." Monger explained.

"What is it this time?" I ask.

"Seems a snail fell into a French nuclear reactor. As we speak, Escargantua is slowly making its way to Paris." Monger says.

"Well this anit the first time something weird has happened in Paris." I shrug.

"Well i'm in." Link says.

"Me to." Doc and B.O.B agree.

"Count me in, too." Sam replys.

"Au revoir, sweetie!" Wendy yells as we all get into the plane.

"Goodbye, Delilah! Good luck gettin' over me." B.O.B yells at the window.

"B.O.B., it's me she's never gonna get over." Sam remarks.

"Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait! You were dating with Derek too? That two-timing jerk!" B.O.B yells.

And that's it we flew off into the sunset and off to Paris we would come to save the world once again.
