Three moons has since the exile from Mapleshade's and her kits'. Both Thunderclan and Riverclan thought that Mapleshade's kits are dead. But, They are wrong and the kits are alive. These kits want revenge on both Thunderclan and Riverclan. The kits are now apprentice age. The kits found out that they are vampire cats.
Petal is planning to make a clan. The clan will known as Crimsonclan. Petal had told her siblings about her revenge plan. They agreed to get revenge. Larch wanted to go after Oakstar for exiling them. Patch wanted to kill Perchpaw for killing his mother.
Petal decided to leave the barn. She went to Riverclan's territory. Darkstar is hunting with Perchsong. Petal stepped on a stick which alerted Darkstar. Darkstar decided to check the noise. Darkstar saw a cream-colored she-cat.
Petal dashes forward with claws unsheathed. Darkstar doges the attack and fights back. Petal slashes Darkstar's right eye. Darkstar manages to pin down Petal while hissing at her. Petal bites down on Darkstar's chest. Petal is drinking a lot of blood of Darkstar. Darkstar stumbles down and dies.
