Josh's POV:
When I got home, I made a new account on Instagram. This one didn't have my name in it. It was just a random username, but a believable one.
I changed my profile picture to a photo I'd taken of me that didn't have my face in it. You couldn't even tell it was me.
I posted a few photos, ones with date stamps from my Snapchat camera roll, so it didn't just look like everything was from today.
Next, I followed some people. A mixture of celebrities, bands, artists, football players, and some people from school but not anyone popular.
I felt kind of weird about this. It was mean, was it not?
But at the same time, I didn't have to get him to full-on fall in love with me. Just have a crush on me. If I could get him to admit that much or even hint at it, that'd be enough.
And if he didn't know it was a joke, then it'd just seem like I was rejecting him, not playing a prank on him.
Yeah, it'd be fine. It wasn't even that bad anyway. It might upset him a little, getting rejected, but everyone gets rejected at some point in their life. I couldn't really see any harm in doing something to him that he was bound to experience at some point anyway.
With my worries pushed aside, I went onto Simon's account and began following him.
He followed me back pretty quickly, which surprised me.
I decided to make my next move, liking his most recent photo. It wasn't actually a bad photo of him. If I didn't know he was weird, I'd probably think he was pretty hot.

Catfish (Minizerk)
FanfictionJosh was cruelly dared to catfish Simon. But somewhere along the way, he fell in love with him, and things got a lot more complicated.
