♧~~~~~CHAPTER 5~~~~~♧

We got to the nurse, and Felix explained everything and didn't even let me tell her what was wrong.

"Okay here keep drinking water and use these tissue to clean yourself up, And since classes are almost over you can just rest on the bed," the nurse says handing me all the stuff and helping me clean my nose

"You can go back to class she'll be okay," the nurse tells Felix as he nods in response and bows slightly.

"I'll tell the teacher you won't be returning to classes," Felix says before leaving to go back to class as I nod in response.

"Okay, young lady, I have to go. You just stay in here and rest. I'll write you a note so you're excused from your last classes." The nurse says before leaving and leaving a note on the table next to the bed.

"Thank you, I will," I bow as she leaves, and I just sit there on the bed. I take this opportunity to see all the damage the girls did in the bathroom.

I lift my hoody and shirt, seeing all the bruises and scars. Seeing there are no open wounds, I lower my clothes with a sigh, shaking my head in disappointment.

My body hurt, but I was used to it. It didn't bug me as much as before, and I learned how to hide the pain pretty quickly.

I decided to take a nap since I felt like I wouldn't be able to get a good nap in a while. So I laid down and closed my eye quickly, falling asleep.

Time passed, and I was woken up by a gentle hand slowly shaking me awake as they whispered my name.

"Y/n you awake," He says, trying to get my attention.

"Hmmm," is all I said, still not fully awake

"Y/n, you have to wake up the teacher been waiting for you," the boy says. I immediately open my eyes and sit up. Seeing Han standing, holding my backpack and Felix next to him.

"Oh my god, how long was I asleep," I say, trying to find my phone to check the time.

"You were asleep 30 minutes after school ended," Felix says

"And you guys have been waiting here the whole time!?" I say, getting out of bed quickly but regretting it immediately, feeling a surge of pain in my rib cage clutching it to hopefully stop.

"Yea, the teacher asked us to come get you, but you were asleep, so we didn't really want to wake you-Uh, are you okay?" Han says, placing my backpack on the edge of the bed.

"You should have woken me up regardless," I say, ignoring his question and grabbing my backpack.

I quickly walked out of the nurse's office, Han and Felix, walking shortly behind me. I assume they forgot their backpacks and were going to retrieve them as well.

I walk into our empty class, seeing the teacher at her desk looking through some papers. I walk up to her desk, finally catching her attention.

"So miss Y/n why were you late earlier to class?" She says, looking back at the papers.

"Umm on my way back from the bathroom I ran into a new student and he ask me for help because he forgot where his classroom was, unluckily it was on the second floor so it took a bit longer" I explained everything to her and as I did so, Felix and Han walked in to get their stuff and walked back out.

"I guess I could excuse you this time since you weren't fooling around, you may go," the teacher said, not taking her eyes off the papers.

"Thank you ma'am" I bow and walk out the door, seeing Felix and Han standing there and looking at me as I walk out.

"Were you guys waiting for me?" I say, walking up to them.

"Yep," Han says with an adorable smile

"Why? Don't you guys have stuff to do? " I say, walking down the hall to leave as they followed.

"Uhhh, not really, no," Han says

"Then why are you guys waiting for me?" I question not looking back.

"Well you kinda helped us a lot today and we thought maybe you'd like to get a coffee or something with us and the rest of our friends," Felix says rubbing the back of his neck. I stop at his words and look at them confused

"Um, no, thank you, I'm pretty busy after school," I say, continuing to walk, and we finally reach outside

"Come on, it won't take that long. We just want to repay you for helping us," Han says, standing in front of me as we were almost to the gate.

I looked around, avoiding their eyes to see Lisa and her gang at the gate with a few boys with them this time. I widen my eyes, remembering what she said in the bathroom.

"Yea, sorry, I really can't, but I have to go. Have I nice day!" I say while running away, not wanting Lisa to see me with them.

"Wait, Y/n!" I hear Felix shout but ignore him as I run past the gate and to my workplace.

I worked at a small cafe not far from home or school, so it was pretty convenient. I like it there it was funny and mostly quiet. My coworkers made it fun, too, so it wasn't bad. I walked the rest of the way there, trying to catch my breath and cool off before I walked in.

I walked into the empty cafe seeing no customers, so I walked to the back to get ready for work. As I was tying up my hair, I heard a screaming Beomgyu.

I sigh as I walk into the kitchen, seeing Yeonjun chasing Beomgyu around with a strainer. Beomgyu lightens up when he sees me and runs to take cover behind me.

"YAH! Why are you chasing my Gyu around with a strainer," I say, trying to hold back Yeonjun, but it was pointless cus he was MUCH taller than me and proceeded to bonk Gyu on the head.

"He threw water at me!" Yeonjun said with a pout once I pushed him away.

"Agh, you two never learn." I shake my head, reaching for their ears to get them in trouble. But my hand was stopped before I could get Gyu's ear.

"Sorry miss shorty, but you can't pull my ear this time," Beomgyu says with a smirk as he holds my hand down.

"YAH, I'm not short!" I yell at him, taking the strainer from Yeonjun and proceeding to chase Beomgyu around the kitchen.

But we stopped when we heard the bell ring from the door, signifying somebody walked in. I look at Beomgyu, who took cover behind Yeonjun and glared at him.

I walked out to take the customer's order and gave it to Yeonjun so he could prepare it. The rest of my shift was pretty easy, not a lot of customers.

Had a few laughs with Yeonjun and Beomgyu while we worked. They were a bit older than me, but I enjoyed their presence.

They were my only true friends and well the rest of them too, but I don't work with all of them on the same day. They ran the cafe and hired me soon after they opened it so I've been here for a while.

They knew a few things about what's been happening, not all of it, but just that Lisa and her friends beat me up and that my dad is abusive.

I don't really tell them all the details, but they still support me and are there for me when I need them. They especially love it when I have to bring Jiwoo with me to work. They let her play around and sometimes let her help with making drinks.

30 minutes before my shift ended, I was starting to clean up a bit before closing. A few customers were still waiting for their orders.

As I was making a drink for a previous customer when the bell rang again. I greeted the new customers without looking back and finishing up the drink. Before I turn around, I hear someone call my name.

"Y/n?" The person on the other side of the counter said.
