It's Just The Beginning

A Girl walking home from school, a 15 year old girl. Her name is Nichole.

Her Parents had a bad fight and they had divorced a year and a half ago, and she has been living with her mom, and her dad had moved across town. She hasn't been doing so good in school but enough to be barely passing, she doesn't have a lot of friends but it was all she needed at her current state. So as I said, she was walking home and since she had to cross the highway to get to her mom's house.

It was a rainy day, she stopped a little too close to the road and a car zoomed passed and splashed the water on her, and her clothing got wet. "REALLY!?" She yelled, "Ugh that's so annoying," she sighed aggravated at the car. She ran across the highway and when she got to the other side she stumbled on her own feet, without falling, feeling embarrassed and hoping no one saw her.

When she got into her Mom's house, her Mom greeted her, "Hey honey, dinner will be ready soon," She looked up "Nichole! Your soaking wet!" "I know mom.." she said, "it was raining outside and a car drove by and splashed water on me," her Mom sighed "okay, well change your clothes and make sure to do your homework," "Sure mom, I'll go change but I don't have any homework" her mom was back to cooking. Nichole went into her room, put down all of her stuff, unzipped her jacket, took of her shirt and jeans. She put on a pair of comfy shorts and a oversized shirt. Then laid in her bed.

"Dinner's ready!" Her mom called. Nichole walked out of her room and sat at the table. Her mom was serving lasagna, her favorite. After they ate, Nichole went back into her room and laid back in her bed, and stared at the ceiling. Then she fell asleep unaware of the next day ahead of her.
