"MISS SMITH, YOUR phone, please," Flitwick requested, snapping his fingers to gesture at her bottom half, where Cherry had been hiding her phone.
Cherry's happy mood of the day disappeared as she handed over the phone, adding, "Sorry, professor."
This seemed to easy Professor Flitwick's nerves, as he smiled at his second-favourite student and said in his bellowing tone, "Yes! But now you can focus on your studies, no?" All stares were directed at the professor as he continued squeaking, "Any student found with their phone out will be taken; phones will be received back after class!"
Cherry glared at her friends, who were all on their phones, somehow managing to hide it.
"'Course, Professor," Cherry said, smiling fakely, and grabbed her quill as Flitwick continued with his lecture. From the quill protruded the tip of a muggle pen▬something Cherry thought was amazing▬and she started doodling.
By the end of the theoretical lesson, her legs are completely covered in doodles, most of which are unnecessary, but Cherry doesn't care much. Her parchment, supposed to house notes, only had more doodles on them...it was safe to say that Cherry adored doodles, even if it was just for the now.
