2. feelings

We all sat down and ate all of the food. Afterwards, I wrestled with Lucas.

"You can't beat me!" he literally growled. I pulled him over and pinned him. "Just did" I chuckled giving him a bone from the chicken we had. He accepted it and started chewing on it.

"Bet you can't catch me!" James said and soared through the sky as Katie chased him. "Get him!" yelled Ariya, "Gotcha now!" Katie yelled and tackled him to the ground.

Lucas and I were tired so we went to the tree. He and I laid down and we snuggled up with each other and took a nap.

"Don't you think they would make a cute couple?" asked Katie "Yeah, but remember their just best friends" said James. "Umm best friends don't do that to each other" pointed Lisa and saw chase nuzzling at Lucas' cheek. "Aww" added Katie "Do you think Chase likes him?" asked Ariya "There's a possibility" said James. "It would be cute" added Lisa. "Can't deny that" replied Katie.

~Chase's pov~

I woke and looked at Lucas. I actually did have a crush on him. But he told me himself that he liked Ariya, and I'm not gonna get in the way of that. But I wish he knew how much I cared. But there're so many things that could go horribly wrong. He could hate me and find me disgusting. And I don't want that so my lips are sealed.

He woke up and smiled. "Let's go" he said as he stood up and helped me up. "Are y'all ready to go?" he asked. To which everyone replied yeah.

We got back and it was dark. We all said bye and my parents were snapping because it was almost 12.

I went upstairs and got comfy in my bed. My thoughts about Lucas flowed throughout my mind as I slowly drifted off to sleep.
