During the 20 years since Winston was taken, Willow has devoted her whole to her family, especially her Mother. When Willow was first graduating high school, Isabella was diagnosed with RA and PTSD and later became handicapped under the care of Willow, including Isabella's bakery shutting down due to expenses. Willow's siblings ended up moving on with their lives and having new families, separating from their fatherless family. Continuing to live in Louisiana would make Isabella never recover from her mate's kidnapping and her business falling apart, so she and Willow decided to move to New York where Willow's grandmother lives. Isabella wanted to continue her baking career, even though her hands barely work due to the RA. With many waitressing jobs that Willow has had, she wanted to continue her Mom's career so they could both move on from the pain, and they did, slowly.

One morning in Willow, Isabella, and Grandmother's apartment with a bakery still in slight construction below. Birds were chirping and Willow was in bed sleeping peacefully with her childhood cow plushie then her alarm clock started ringing. Willow growled in irritation and smashed her alarm clock with one hand, about the shape of a pancake. She sighed and got up slowly out of bed to start her day by doing her hygiene and getting dressed for her waitressing job at a restaurant just across the street from their soon-to-be bakery.

As she was getting her shoes on, Willow sensed someone in the kitchen. She smelled the air tracking who it might be and it smelled like her Grandma Abajean cooking bacon and eggs, Willow sighed and walked slowly to the kitchen calling:

"Granny? Are you cooking for us?"

Willow turned to the kitchen entryway and it was her Mom cooking while she was in her wheelchair. She was humming and scrambling the eggs how they all liked it

"Good mornin' sweetheart." Isabella brightly greeted Willow. "By the way, your Granny is still in bed."

Isabella must be having a good morning, it looks like her hands didn't start aching or anything so Willow is hopeful that this continues to be a good day for her Mom. Willow smirked in relief.

"You and Granny are starting to smell the same," Willow said while leaning against the entryway, crossing her arms.

"Well we're both old, so I suppose that's possible," Isabella replied. They both chuckled and Willow came to smell the excellent breakfast, at the sight of the bacon sizzling and the smell flooding the kitchen, Willow started to dose off, salivating aggressively with her eyes glowing yellow, as if her inner wolf was wanting to burst out. Isabella notices, snaps her fingers in Willow's face, and gets her snapped back into reality then receives a massive migraine, covering her eyes.

"Willy? Are you okay?" Isabella asks all concerned and frightened. Willow uncovered her eyes and saw how scared her Mom was, then she started to get scared herself.

"I'm okay, Mom."

"Don't you dare lie to me, Willow CopperPaw." Everything around the kitchen went quiet, except for the bacon. Then Isabella knew what was wrong and she sighed.

"It's been trying to come out, hasn't it?" she asks. Willow quietly took the bacon from the skillet and sat at the table, looking at Isabella with a sad face. Isabella wheeled over to Willow with the eggs so the two could talk. As soon as they sorted their shares of their array of a delightful breakfast, Isabella pops the ultimate question:

"How long has it been going on?"

Willow was nervous but knew if she lied, her mother would catch her instantly.

".... for about a week," she answers. Isabella pauses from eating her eggs,

"For a week?! Honey, what have you been doing this entire time?" she asks in concern,

"Waitressing and trying to get our bakery going," Willow replies, "I know it's what you've been wanting ever since...you know."

"Oh, baby..." Isabella reached over the table to hold Willow's hand, "I knew at some point this dream of mine would be stressful for you."

Isabella wheels over to Willow's side and they hug.

"It's not just the bakery that stressing me out, Mama," Willow says as they unhook from their hug, "It's hard to explain but...." she paused in embarrassment, trying not to sound or act crazy.

"I just...have this urge to be free, running in the woods like Dad, Mikey, and I used to, especially hunting nonstop." Isabella came up with an idea, but Willow may consider it to be silly.

"Well... I have one idea."

"Hmm?"

"You could... try becoming... a superhero?" They both paused in awkwardness due to this strange topic.

"Are you making fun of me in some weird way??" Willow questioned

"No, honey" Isabella answers, "this time, I'm actually being serious."

"That's not actually a bad idea, Willybear." Out of nowhere, Granny Abajean comes into their conversation, holding a cup of coffee in her pink robe and bunny slippers. Scarring Willow and Isabella silly.

"Mom, you gotta stop doing that," Isabella says to Granny. "Someone could die."

"Hey, you know I can't help it." Granny slowly sits down at the table with them. "So what are ya thinking?"

"I think you guys are nuts." Willow got up from the table to get more ham.

"Oh come on, Willy!" Granny and Isabella jinxed.

"This could be a good thing for you! Like running around and chasing bad guys, and maybe even eating them."

"Granny!"

"Mom!"

"What the hell are y'all yelling at me for?!" cried Granny "I'm just saying! I don't know what werewolves do nowadays."

"I hate to say this but your grandmother has a good point." Isabella sighs

"You people are actually thinking that since I'm a werewolf-witch hybrid I could make a difference and save lives?"

They both nodded in agreement, and Willow scoffed as she went to do the dishes.

"Honey, this might be a great thing for you!" Isabella says, "Everyone with special abilities nowadays are superheroes."

"Not everyone, Mom. Just the Avengers."

"Wasn't meeting that good-looking Captain America guy your biggest dream?" Granny suggested, "I remember you having a big crush on him and you would just talk about him for hours." Willow stopped scrubbing the dishes to think, she still has a big crush on Captain America so being a hero like him would be good for me and my inner wolf. It just seems that going to the gym doesn't satisfy Willow's inner wolf enough, perhaps her Mom and Granny are right. If she doesn't try out something fast, her inner wolf might burst out and hurt someone.

"Fine." Willow says continuing the dishes, "but I'm only gonna try this out because I love you two, and Captain America with all my heart." The watch on her wrist hits 8 a.m., and she's a little late but her boss knows her situation, not the "being a hybrid" part.

"OK ladies, I gotta go to work, Melissa will be with ya'll later so please behave yourselves."

"We can't make any promises!" Granny jokes and chuckles.

"Love ya'll." Willow goodbyed for the morning, she grabbed her wallet and headed out the door to her waitressing job
