A Rocket and his Star

Pickup from Earth

Peters eyes welled with tears as he sat beside his mother in the Hospital almost overhearing her starting to talk to him. Looking up at her after she said his name his Mother but her hand on his cheek and gave a few strokes with her thumb.

„I am so sorry that I have to leave you behind, especially with my Father, if I could I would search through the whole Universe to find someone better than him. Now I have something for you my little star, look under the bed for me will you?"
Letting go of his Mothers hands he looked at her confused but still did as he was told not wanting to disappoint her just like Grandfather always said he did. Blindly feeling around the dark his hands fell onto a medium sized bag.

Pulling it up he looked at it confused and put it on the bed beside his Mother a question on the tip of his tongue.
Just before he could ask his Mother spoke up again „It's yours, there are things in there that are for nobody but you so only open it when you are totally alone and never lose it" nodding Peter put the bag on his lap and shrunk in on himself as relatives came into the room, most of them talking about her will and who would take Peter in, as if his mother wasn't even here anymore.

Almost crying as he was shoved back so he couldn't see his mother anymore he was about to speak up until there was a loud deafening beep sound in the small room. Standing there in Shook as a herd full of nurses came rushing in, he flinched as he was roughly picked up and thrown out of the room with a shout to scram.

Still standing there Peter couldn't believe what just happened, but the shout of rage coming out of the room jolted him out of this state as he realized he had to leave or both of them wouldn't make it out alive of this Hospital.
Running out the back into the big grassy field he hopped it would cover him enough so his grandfather wouldn't see him immediately and calm down a bit.

Trying to make himself as small as possible he gasped as there was a bright light shining above him and the wind picking up, standing again he moved back but stiffened as he heard his grandfather behind him. Eyes widening as a tall blue Person came out of the landed craft he couldn't believe what he was seeing.

„You child what is your name" the blue thing asked. Blinking he didn't say anything as his mother told him not to talk to strangers but that was all for nothing as his Grandfather screamed his name loudly across the field and he flinched giving himself away.
The People on the air craft looked invested as the child was standing rooted too the ground as their boss started speaking again.
„We are here to take you so make it easy for us and come here" , Peter didn't look up as he said that, as he actually thought about going to them thinking nobody could be worse that his Grandfather. Taking a shaky step back he stilled again as the voice of his Grandfather got louder and angrier.

Looking back again he saw the fury on the mans face and flinched back, making up his mind as his Grandfather spotted him and sped up to get to him he turned around and numbly walked towards the Blue Person Shocking him and the air craft crew.
Stearing the child into the air craft they stood on top of the bridge as they took of. Peters Grandfather got even angrier and made it known by screaming at the top of his Lungs wich in turn made Peter hide behind the Tall Blue Person all the while clutching the Leather Cape.

Looking between the child and the old man the leader frowned and made up his mind to not follow the orders from the Father of the Child but honor his Mothers wish she send out not knowing if it was ever received. Closing the hatch he turned to the child and told him his name.

Yondu, Peter thought it was fitting as it sounded like a name fit for a robot wich he did kind of look like, he turned as the taller one spoke about his crew and gave a little wave wich seemed to have a ripple effect as almost everyone awed at him. There was one who stood out and he learned that the Persons name was Kraiglin. He was the one who took Peter to a room and helped him get settled.

Now over the years Peter got closer to both Yondu and Kraiglin, he got trained by the whole crew of the ship and made a Reputation for himself. At first they only had him steal things but after a bigger mission where he saved their asses by distracting their target he was made a main part in most missions after, always being the distraction wich ended up being a good decision. Now he had two reputations one as a thief wich everyone knew as the starlord and one as a thief with the name of vermilion viper.

Him and Yondu also had a game going on to see who could get their hands on something first so here we are.
