Natasha woke up early in the morning. She spread out her arms on the Queen size bed that was placed in the guest room. Natasha hopped out of the bed and opened the curtains, she looked outside and saw the gardener spraying tbe grass with water and the staff putting down tables for the party that night. There was a knock on the door and Natasha told them to come in.
"Morning." Steve says
"Morning." Natasha says
"My parents asked me to get you for breakfast and they also asked if you could put on an outfit to play tennis." Steve says
"Okay. I'll be right down." Natasha says
"See you then." Steve says and left the room.
A couple minutes later Natasha arrived at breakfast. They sat down outside in the garden again, the same place they had lunch yesterday. Steve put a croissant on Natasha's plats when she sat down.
"Thank you." Natasha says
"No problem." Steve says
"Natasha, how did you sleep?" Sarah asks
"I slept wonderful, thank you for asking. The bed in the guest room is absolutely wonderful." Natasha says
"I'm happy to hear that." Sarah says
"Natasha do you got your own racket for tennis?" Joseph asks
"Umh, no. Well, I do have one at home." Natasha says
"You can use my spare racket." Sarah says
"That would be nice." Natasha says
"How about me and mom will go against Natasha and dad?" Steve says
"Seems fair to me." Joseph says
"Obviously Steve wanted to go with the best player." Sarah says
"Don't you mean against?" Joseph jokes
"Alright, let's get started." Steve says
After an hour the family called it quits and decided that Natasha and Joseph obviously won, mostly because Steve's future fiance was more skilled at tennis than they thought.
Natasha took a quick shower before changing into a cute light blue dress. She applied some light make-up and made her way downstairs to the sitting room to discuss the prenup.
Steve and Natasha sat beside each other on the small white couch while Sarah and Jennifer Walters took a seat across from the pair. Papers were spread out on the glass side table and there was a can of water at the side, showing that this would take some time.
"Where's dad?" Steve asks
"He's helping set up for the party for tonight." Sarah says
"Isn't planning party's more your thing?" Steve asks
"The party is already planned, it just needs to be set up." Sarah says
"Shall we begin?" Jennifer asks
"Yes." Natasha says
"This prenup won't be that complicated and if you want me to change things just ask." Jennifer explains
"Okay." Steve says
"Let's start with the case of divorce." Jennifer says, "Steve you would pay a monthly fee to Natasha and you will help her get a place to live after the divorce."
"Sounds reasonable." Steve says
"If you two have kids during the divorce there will be shared custody or another agreement that a judge will decide. If there are children Steve will support Natasha with her costs for the child." Jennifer says, "Now let's talk about the case of a deased."
Natasha flinched at the subject and Steve put his hand over hers and gave her a little squeeze. Natasha smiled at him and then looked back at Jennifer.
"In case of Natasha's departure, Steve will receive all her belongings unless it's stated otherwise in her will. The same rule applies to Steve, but not only will Natasha receive his belongings, she will also be pointed the CEO of the family business if Steve's parents are both retired, if Steve's parents aren't retired yet, the company will go back to them." Jennifer says, "Next up we got the living agreement."
"The what?" Steve asks
"Your mother set this up." Jennifer says
"What does it mean?" Natasha says
"You two will both live under the same roof, more importantly it's stated here that you two will share a bedroom." Jennifer reads
"Mom, this is crazy." Steve says
"This will help you both." Sarah says
"How?" Steve asks
"Well you make long days, so once you get home you got a nice meal and a warm bed. I know it sounds weird since you two just met, but it could really help you emotionally." Sarah explains
"Why didn't you ask us first before putting it in this contract?" Steve asks
"Because you wouldn't listen to me then." Sarah says
"Steve maybe this will work." Natasha says
"You really believe that?" Steve asks
"I mean, I would like it if I would come home and you would be there. It's comforting. Otherwise we would both sleep in cold beds alone." Natasha says
"Fine. We'll try it." Steve says
"Great. Now that concludes the prenup. If you both could sign under your name." Jennifer says and put a pencil on the table.
"That's it? Why do we never need a contract for this small thing?" Steve asks
"So we know it's for sure." Sarah says
Natasha picked up the pencil and signed her name, Steve followed her move and signed his name.
"Thank you for your time Jennifer." Sarah says
"No problem. I'll finalize this as soon as possible." Jennifer says
"Wonderful. Let me show you out." Sarah says
The two got up and left the room leaving the soon to be married couple alone.
"So... Anything you wanna add to that contract off record?" Natasha asks
"Well there is one thing I would like to discuss." Steve says
"Oh? And that is?" Natasha asks
"Sex." Steve says
"What?" Natasha asks
"I mean we are getting married, but I want to know your thoughts about this. Like do you want to date someone during our marriage, or?" Steve says
"I don't want to date anyone." Natasha says
"Really?" Steve asks
"My past relationships didn't go well, so there won't be any of that for me. But if you want to date others, then you can." Natasha says
"No, no, no. I haven't dated in years, marriage won't change that." Steve says
"But if you wanna, you know, sleep together, we can." Natasha says
"You don't me." Steve says
"But I do know we don't want a marriage without that. So if there is a time you want it, I'm cool with it." Natasha says
"That's good to know, and if you want it, then I'm also cool with that." Steve says
"Great, then it's settled." Natasha says
"Why are you two sitting around? You two gotta get changed for the party." Joseph says
"We're going." Steve says
"I'll see you later." Natasha says
"Yeah, see you later." Steve says
