Because I hadn't updated in ages. Here's what happened in the last chapter: Kathryn came to her school and saw a camera team and her teacher tells the students that this team wants to film a little music video with the whole school. There are two deals, the one is that every grade gets an introduction into professional filming and the second deal gets only told to some special students; also Kathryn and Zoe.

~"So... The second deal is..."~

"...is only for the students who go to the theatre class. And you are in it." He started to explain.
"They're going to do a workshop for you where you get tips about acting. and you're going to do a little play" He said with a smile on his face.

I can't believe what he just said! Really? The directors are going to show us how to act in front of a camera? And we're going to do a little play? Like a little movie? That's awesome! One of my dreams just happened to be real. And I am totally not dreaming.
But which play do we gonna play? And is it with singing or more with acting?

I raised my hand. "Uhm, Mr. Johnson? Is the play more something with acting or singing?" I asked him.

"Good question Kathryn... To be honest, I don't know. But wait till your theatre class. I'm sure that Miss Shaw is going to tell you what it is. But now, please leave the room." He said and pointed at the door.

I took Zoe's hand and laid us out. We were really excited to tell everybody of it as we heard the teacher's voice which told us that we weren't allowed to tell it anyone.
We slowed down.
"What are we going to do now? It's hard to have a secret between best friends. I hope that they won't be mad about it..." Zoe said in a lower voice.
We ran directly into Grace and Jake who waited for us.

"What did he tell you? He had a smile on his face..." Jake, who had a serious expression, asked.
"He told us the second deal!!" Zoe and I said.
"What is it about?" Jake and Grace immediately asked.
"Well... We aren't allowed to tell you anything. Please don't be mad about it." I told them and gave them a gentle smile.
"Oh, yes! Of course. I'm excited what is going to happen." Grace said, pretending that she wouldn't be disappointed.
But I saw that they were a little bit disappointed.
I just wanted to change the topic of our convo as the school bell rang.
"Whoohoo! Music lesson! I love music" I immediately screamed and pushed my friends in the direction of our music room.

I love music because we have the best and craziest teacher at the school. He doesn't do music history or 'how is a piano built?' things. No, he sings with us and makes music with us. And that's why I love to go to his music class.
Today we had to bring our instrument (if we play one) to school and everyone who wants to, can show us what he or she learns. I sadly don't have an instrument. I'm more into singing. I LOVE singing.

As we entered the room Mr. Woodley already sat there and waited for us to come in.
We sat down and directly began with the little concert. The first student played 'Let Her go' on his guitar. Two girls played a complicated Duett on their recorder. Then it was Jake's turn. He played 'Pirates of the Caribbean'. It was amazing.
Then a girl who's new in our class, went to the piano and started to play... The cup song?
Oh my god yes!! She played the cup song.
I began to sing away.

I got my ticket for the long way 'round
Two bottles whisky for the way And I sure would like some sweet company
And I'm leaving tomorrow, what do you say?

When I'm gone
When I'm gone
You're gonna miss me when I'm gone
You're gonna miss me by my hair
You're gonna miss we everywhere, oh
You're gonna miss me when I'm gone

I got my ticket for the long way 'round
The one with the prettiest of views
It's got mountains, it's got rivers, it's got sights to give you shivers
But it sure would be prettier with you

When I'm gone
When I'm gone
You're gonna miss me when I'm gone
You're gonna miss me by my walk
You're gonna miss me by my talk, oh
You're gonna miss me when I'm gone

Suddenly everybody looked at me. I looked over to Zoe and imitated 'what's the matter?' with my mouth.
"You sang pretty loud." Zoe whispered.

What?! I sang out loud??? Oh shit. They're still looking at me. I blushed really hard and looked over to Mr. Woodley. He just noted something down and asked the next student to play his piece.
As the bell rang I jumped up and ran out.
I just wanted to have some fresh air and let go of the awkward situation which happened just now.

"Kathy! Mr. Woodley wants to speak with you." Sarah, a girl of our class, said.
I rolled my eyes and turned back. Why the heck wants every single teacher to speak with me?! I'm an ordinary girl and I don't her attention!
I entered the room and Mr. Woodley already waited for me.

"Aah, there you are. Come with me!" He said and laid me out of the music room.
