Magic Mishaps

Scarle had everyone in the room, with a book on the table.

Scarle: Alright! I got this new spell book for my potions, since some of my potions require quotes to work properly!

Kyo: You need us here because?..

Scarle: Well- this next potion kinda requires..6 people?

Aster: Oh.

Ren: I'm sure its okay! What could possibly happen?

Maria: Yeah, I'm sure we'll be fine!

Scarle: Okay..okay! Lets do this! So, everyone put a hand on the book!

Everyone does as told, including Scarle.

Scarle: Now, each of us say these words, line for line..i'll go first, who wants to go next?

Aia: How about we go down from the right? So its Scarle, Ren, Aster, Me, Maria, and Kyo.

Scarle: Oo, okay! Lets do it!

Scarle took a deep breath.

Scarle: Articles, Articles, word for word stairs..

Ren: Up and down they go, when nobody gets a scare.

Aster: Read this once, maybe twice,

Aia: You may even read it three times.

Maria: But we careful, be aware..

Kyo: ..This one trick..may make you stare.

They pause.

Kyo scoffed.

Scarle: Wait a second..

There was another moment. Suddenly, the book glowed around their hands.

Maria: A-Ah!?

Aster: What the!?-

They all try to get their hand off, but nothing works..it's stuck.

Suddenly, a circle around them glows. This is where they can take their hands off.

They were quick to brace themselves, knowing they can't get out.

Kyo immediately pulled Maria close,

Aia grabbed Aster's arm,

Ren hugged Scarle, covering her head, protecting her face, and closing his eyes while hiding his own.

The circle flashes, and soon, they're gone with the book still on the table..
