"Ugh, he's so boring," RaiRai complained in Lei'la's lap, forcing Lei'la to smile at her little sister, pushing her fluffy hair out of her eyes. Lei'al had been instructed by Norm to remain in the lab for at least a week so she would not tear her stitches. The girl protested, declaring she would die of boredom, but the scientist insisted, even getting Jake involved to keep her here, who was going to go against the chief.

"He is your brother, Rai," Lei'la deadpanned, making the girl huff. She dropped her on Lei'la's shoulder in defeat.

"I know, but I miss you at home."

Lei'la sighed, leaning her head on Rai's. She had never spent this much time away from home, and even though she was a few paces from her tent, it felt like miles. Her mother came by to see her the morning after the rain, showering her eldest with kisses and hugs and praying to Eywa that she was back safe, but her father had yet to see her. It had been almost five days.

"I'll be home soon; how are momma and father?"

RaiRai looked down at her fingers, meddling with them mindlessly. "Momma is fine; I guess she's worried for you, Tsmuke." Lei'la wrapped her arms around her sister, pulling her into her chest and giving her forehead a light kiss.

"You have to be there for her; promise me, Paysyul."

"I promise".

Neteyam bent under the doorway of the lab, collecting a mask, before taking a deep breath. The mask hung around his neck like a necklace, and his quiet footsteps turned around the lab, looking for Norm or Max. Neteyam hated being in the lab; he hated technology, and he hated humans. Maybe not Spider; he took after his mother, despising everything that the sky people did. The only reason he was here today was to pick up some more maps of the demon's train tracks to plan the next raid.

His ears pricked up at the distant banging; it sounded like it was on the other side of the lab. Curiosity got the best of the boy, letting out an annoyed growl as she tracked towards the noise, pushing tubes and equipment out of his way until he reached the medical wing. He pushed the metal door open, bending underneath the doorway, to find the room empty.

Bang

His head whipped around fast enough to give him whiplash. His golden eyes landed on the one person he did not want to see.

"What are you doing?"

Lei'la kept her eyes trained on the dartboard on the wall with three daggers sticking out of it. She lifted her right arm, ready to throw a fourth. "What does it look like I'm doing?" she spat, throwing her final dagger straight onto the bullseye, making a tearing sound as the dagger pierced through the piece of paper sticking to the board. Neteyam walked closer, staring at the board in disbelief.

"How did you... Is that my face... on the board?" His words came all jumbled like he couldn't comprehend what he was looking at.

Lei'la shrugged, leaning back against the headboard of the bed. "Good incentive to hit the middle."

His voice was cut in his throat, and his brain was trying to comprehend what the hell was happening. "How did you even do this?"

Lei'la smiled, swinging around so she was sitting face-to-face with him. "So Norm has this thing that takes your face and puts it on a screen, and it's frozen..."

"A camera?" Neteyam interrupts.

"Yeah that, Norm taught how to use one, and then there's a thing called a printee..."
