Max was playing at the park with his friends when he saw a group of older kids bullying a younger boy. Max knew he should do something to help, but he was scared. He took a deep breath and walked over to the older kids. "Stop bullying that boy," Max said.
The older kids laughed and pushed Max aside. But Max didn't give up. He stood up to them and refused to back down.
Eventually, the older kids got bored and left. The younger boy was grateful to Max for standing up for him, and Max felt proud of himself for being brave.
Max learned that sometimes it takes courage to do the right thing, but it's always worth it in the end.
