¹² - 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐈𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤

"Yeah" Steve answers you "Guys?" he calls out but they don't listen

"Guys!" you yell making them stop talking

The five all listen in to hear the Demogorgon's in the woods. You grab Steve's hand and pull him off the tracks with the boys following them.

"No, no, no, hey, guys, why are you heading towards the sound? Hello?" Max yells out to them and when they don't answer she sighs and follows them

The five walk deeper into the woods and stop at the top of a hill where they look over Hawkins.

"I don't see him" Dustin says, Lucas then gets out his binoculars

"It's the lab"

Steve walks in the front of the group with the flashlight showing him where he is going as you linger in the back.

"Hello? Who's there?" voices yells out

The five walk through the edge of the woods where the lab comes into view but they are focused on the two people that are walking towards.

"Steve?" Nancy asks looking at them

"(y/n)?" Jonathan asks looking at you

"Jonathan?"

"Nancy?"

"What are you doing here?" Nancy asks then

"What are you doing here?" Steve asks walking over to them

"We're looking for Mike and Will" Nancy tells them

"Are they in there?" you ask pointing to the lab

"We're not sure" 

"Why?" Jonathan asks just as they hear the Demogorgons start screeching as they go into the lab

You continue to stare up at the lab making you step back into Steve where he wraps his arm around you pull you closer to him.

"It's okay, i got you, baby" Steve whispers into your ear

"You okay?" Jonathan asks stepping towards you and you quickly wrap your arms around him

"Where have you been?" you ask into his shoulder

"Trying to get his place shut down" Jonathan says making you pull away to look at up "I'm doing this for you. Those people, whatever they did to you, they will be sent away and never be able to do it ever again. Not to you, not to anyone"

"Are you sure?" you ask with tears in your eyes

"Once every newspaper in America gets our article on this place, they will be shut down for good" Nancy says stepping into the conversation

You let out a small sob but smile at the two before hugging Jonathan again. The group then start talking over everyone as they try to get an understanding of what is happening

"Hey the powers back on" Nancy says getting their attention

Everyone then stops talking and they run over to the gates control box where Jonathan goes inside to try and open the gate.

"Let me try" Dustin says going over to him

"Hang on-"

"Let me try, Jonat-" Dustin cuts Jonathan off

You cut Dustin off by throwing a purple ball at the gate knocking of down, you then move the gate off to the side and turn back to the other.

"Or do that" Dustin says as him and Jonathan step out of the booth

"Go!" you say to Jonathan pointing to his car

He quickly moves with Nancy to his car and drives up to the lab, not even a minute later he is driving back down with Hopper behind him where they jump into his car.
