"If it is so easy, how come I am being praised to the heavens?"
"Because you are the chief's son," she said, letting out a small laugh. His eyes darted down to his feet before meeting her amber ones. "Most of your admirers are women." Her hand pushed his chest out of the way as she walked over to her supply of arrows.
Neteyam jogged over to her, quickly catching up. "What does that have to do with anything?" She turned over to look at him over her shoulder. Was he really that dense?
"It matters because you are looking for a mate, are you not?" Her eyes were raised pointedly, making him stutter over his words.
"Exactly, and they are fanning for your attention by praising you. Simple," she shrugged, walking back over to Tìreyä placing the spare arrows safely in their hold.
"Huh," he said, placing his hands on his hips in thought. "Is that why you are behaving like this?" A sudden thought dawned on the boy, eliciting a loud gasp that made the girl jump. "You are jealous."
Lei'la almost got whiplash for how fast she spun to meet the boy, who was grinning from ear to ear. "Jealous? Jealous!" A voice got louder with every syllable.
"Oh, you so are."
"Fuck you, Sully," she mumbled before stalking away from the ikrans.
"I know you want to," he called after her, making her flip Neteyam off walking towards the healer's tent.

"Ugh, Nali, you wouldn't believe the fucking shit that..." Lei'la whipped the flap of the tent open, her voice trailing off as she stared at the scene in front of her. Her best friend was making out with her other best friend. "What.The.Fuck"
Nali let out a small squeak at the intrusion, and Lo'ak immediately pushed the healer off his lap, pretending like they hadn't been caught. Nali quickly sat up, pushing her curly hair out of her face. "Hey."
Lei'la stared at the pair, mouth and eyes wide; her eyes darted between the two. "You," she pointed at Nali, "and you," then she pointed at Lo'ak.
"Lei'la," Nali started, but Lei'la held her hand to her face, cutting her off.
"You are a dead Na'vi," she seethed, looking at Lo'ak. The boy looked from side to side before he realised she was talking to him. He pointed at his chest, mouthing "me". Lei'la nodded before she tackled him to the ground.
"You kissed my best friend," she grumbled, landing petty hits on his chest. Lo'ak looked up at his best friend, who was straddling his waist.
"Kissing involves two people, Skxwang," he replied.
"You tricked her with your pelvic sorcery."
"Pelvic sorcery? Really?" Nali asked from behind Lo'ak. She crossed her arms over her chest, her stare piercing into Lei'la's soul, but she quickly looked back down at Lo'ak, her face contorting into confusion.
"I believe you have fallen for my pelvic sorcery before," he mused, tilting his head teasingly.
"That was one time," Lei'la reminded him, "and it doesn't count."
"Oh, it definitely counts if I put my..." Lei'la covered his mouth, stopping before that sentence got any lewder.
"Is that your knife, or are you just a little excited?" a hint of playfulness in her voice.
"I left my knife at home," Lo'ak whispered, making Lei'la groan and hitting his chest again.
"Oi princess, it's time to... go." Neteyam opened the flap of the tent; he was sent by his father to collect the girl as the party was about to set off. He did not expect to find her on top of his baby brother.
"WHAT THE FUCK!" he yelled. Lo'ak and Lei'la snapped their heads towards the entrance, horror written on both their faces. They quickly looked down at each other, flashing a worried look, before looking back at Neteyam.
"Bro, it's not what it looks like." Lo'ak started
"Yeah, he's with her, not me," Lei'la clarified, but that only seemed to make the situation worse as Neteyam glanced over at Nali, who was still hot and sweaty from her previous activity.
"So you..." Neteyam struggled to find the words "altogether?"
Immediately, all three of the teenagers began protesting, but Neteyam was so lost that he ignored all their words.
"You hate me, I get it, but to do this to my brother is a new level, Kazumi." Neteyam left the tent, and a string of curses left his mouth as he walked away.
"Fuck" Lei'la mumbled, crawling off Lo'ak not before she faced her two best friends "I demand an explanation when I return".
"Yes, ma'am".
