Sat around the fire was a group of seven men. The twi'lek man sitting in the center of the group looked all too familiar. He completely matched the holo picture on his bounty puck. I examined the camp around me with sharp eyes. They had set up several tents in the small clearing, so there's a possibility that there could be even more men here.

There were crates stacked up around the area too. They were more than likely filled with weapons. I swallowed tensely as I examined the area. The pay for this bounty was extremely high, but this was more than I had signed up for.

I shuffled backwards and began to stand up when something dug into my back. I immediately tensed up, recognising the feeling almost immediately, a blaster.

"Put your hands up." A deep voice said quietly. I clenched my jaw and slowly raised my hands above my head. A gloved hand grasped my blaster and pulled it out of my hand.

"Turn around." The man demanded. I held back a sigh as I slowly turned around to face him. What I saw took me by surprise however, it was a Mandalorian. This just went from threatening to dangerous.

"Who are you? Are you with them?" I asked him, jolting my thumb over my shoulder to the camp

"No. I'm a bounty hunter. Who are you?" The Mandalorian said

"A Bounty hunter." I answered. If he was going to be vague, so was I.

"Well, maybe you should head back to your ship." The mandalorian said. I clenched my jaw in annoyance and glared slightly

"And why is that?" I asked

"You're really going to take them all on, alone?" The Mandalorian asked in disbelief

"What, you don't think I can? Is it because I'm a girl?" I asked in annoyance

"What? No. That's...that's not what I'm saying." The mandalorian said. He stuttered slightly which strangely made me feel slightly relaxed.

"Then what is it?" I asked him

"Those men down there are dangerous. And There's twelve of them." The mandalorian said

"I counted seven." I said, though I shouldn't be surprised. I did think that there could be more.

"My visor can see more than what the human eye can see." The mandalorian explained

"Okay. So you want me to step aside and let you just swoop in and take it." I asked rhetorically

The mandalorian sighed and paused for a moment before he suddenly decided to lower his blaster. "We could work together. Split the pay 50/50."

I paused and thought about it for a moment. I suppose it did make sense. Mandalorians were known for being amazing fighters. And the pay was high enough for it to be an even share. But what if he betrayed me? Stabbed me in the back and took the bounty for himself.

"How do I know that I can trust you?" I asked him

"You don't. But I'm a man of my word. You will get your fair share of the bounty." The mandalorian explained.

I sighed gently and held my hand out towards him for my blaster. "Okay, Mando. What's the plan?"

The trees rustled as the wind gently blew around me. My hair shifted, lightly blowing like the grass below me. My fingers ran through the soft green blades as I felt the force around me. I took in a deep breath and listened to the sound of the river, rushing over jagged rocks.

The feeling of the force calmed my soul. It gave me a feeling of security and serenity. I could faintly hear birds chirping in the trees above me. I'm unsure of how much time has passed since I first started meditating. But I didn't feel bored in the slightest. Which was a first for me, to be able to sit for so long and not get restless.
