Unexpected Love

Chapter 1 : The first meet

- 6:00pm -

I am at my room editing all the pictures that I've took when we were at Paris and someone knock on my door.

" yes? Come in " I said.
" sweetie? Let's go downstairs para kumain kana and may pupuntahan pa tayo " my mom said after she entered my room.
" okay mom, uhmm I hope there's no involvement of politics sa pupuntahan natin " I answered.
" ofcourse sweetie, don't worry kasama lang natin don ang mga Marcos " my mom said.
" Marcos? I have a bad feeling about this mom... " I said.
" Don't worry sweetie, it will just be a simple dinner with them " my mom answered.
" that simple dinner is not simple as I was thinking, I know there's something behind that " I said, I really do doubt my mom when it comes to Marcoses because she is always teasing me to Simon, so I think it's about marriage this time, I am closed to Vincent but only to Vincent, I don't like the attitude of Simon because he is too cold and he is like having no feelings at all, while Sandro is a busy man, I have a feelings for him back then when we were still on the same school in London, but after I go back here in the Philippines, I've realized that I should be more focusing on myself first, I love photography, but I taked the course for Lawyer, because my parents wants me to be a Lawyer, I didn't disagree since I love being a Lawyer too and I imagined myself protecting those people who are in prison but innocent. I am already 22 years old and Simon is already 24 years old, we have 2 years gap, my parents said I am getting old already so I need to find someone that I will going to marry, but I refused that is why I think they will be the one to make a way for me to get married before I turn 30 years old, I never had a boyfriend but I have a lots of crush back then and I think Simon is just the same like me, no girlfriend since birth lol I wonder if someone will like him, like dzuh look at his attitude, he is so cold and rude, he is too honest and perfectionist.
" Ayy basta, you fixed your things, wash up and fix yourself and go downstairs to eat even just a little bit, don't get yourself too full since we will have dinner with Marcoses " my mom last said.
" Okay, you go downstairs first and I'll follow, give me 1 hour " I answered, after that one hour I've got to fixed all my things and ofcourse myself too, I just wore a red sexy dress with a black heels and my hair is a little bit curly, I just fixed myself simple. I go downstairs already and I saw my parents on the dining table, eating and I've joined them.
" Wow, my beautiful princess, mukhang nagpapaganda ka para kay Simon anak " my dad teased me. Dzuh I told you, they will always tease me!
" You look gorgeous on that dress sweetie and look at your hair it was perfect and with your beautiful face and ofcourse a perfectly pair of heels, I love your look, okay go eat na, baka malate pa tayo " my mom said, wow what a nice compliment but I still have doubts.

I finished eating and we go to the car already, my dad is driving our Mercedes car while my mom is on the passenger seat while I'm sitting at the back, while looking at them, I find them cute. 30 years of being together is not a joke, I am happy that I have all the things that I want, I can buy all the things that I want, I have a contented life and a happy family, I am so blessed to have this kind of life and a freedom but I think my wonderful and peaceful life will end here, because of that marriage that I am overthinking, we are already at the restaurant where we will have the dinner with Marcoses, and I can see tito Bongbong already together with tita Liza but I can't see the three boys so I think I'm safe?

" let's go inside na anak? " my mom asked me.
" let's go " I answered, we entered the restaurant, tita Liza and tito Bongbong approach us agad.
" You look beautiful tonight iha, well no doubts you look everyday pala kahit nasa bahay, nagshishine " tita Liza said while complimenting me and hugged me.
" I love your beautiful look today Ivy " tito Bongbong said while complimenting me too and hugged me as well.
" so? Let's take a seat? " tito Bongbong asked.
" sure, sure " my dad answered.
" where's the three boys? " my mom asked, dzuh, really? asking about the three boys agad? I hope they are not here.
" ohh, Sandro is just about to go here, he has a lot of things to do kase that is why he is late, while Simon is just using the restroom and Vincent can't go here because he just go to Canada, for our business trip and about that business trip, we already talked about this, what's your decision about it? " tita Liza said, no wonder Sandro is busy, he is always busy, and Simon? He is here? Wtf and Vincent is in Canada, then this business trip? Do they really want to stay in one house and in one country? We are not that too closed to each other, if we are not business partners then we won't be here talking and having bond with them, staying in one house with Simon and Sandro is so awkward, ughh my life with Marcoses, what a bad luck.
" About our business trip, me and Feliciano already talked about this, and yeah sure, we will have our business trip " my mom answered, wow without my permission, I will never go there, whatever.
" Okay, then all goods? Ohh there is Sandro " tita Liza said, Sandro is already here and he is sitting beside me and one chair left on my side, dzuh this is so awkward I hope Simon won't sit here.
" Hi tita and tito, how are you? Long time no see " Sandro greeted my parents, he is still the Sandro that I know, he is still kind and handsome.
" Okay naman kami, how about you? How's being a Governor? " my mom asked.
" Everything was tiring tita, but I still make sure that I can still do my best at my work even I'm tired, cause you know me tita, I want the best for my job " Sandro answered, obviously if you are a Governor , many works will go, that is why if you are not ready for those works, then you better quit of being a candidate for Governor or any position on politics.
" It is truly long time no see, we no longer see each other since you are too busy being a Governor but I hope we can have bond together again, we should play golf together sometimes " my dad said.
" ofcourse tito, I will set an schedule for our golf " Sandro answered.
" Sorry I took so long " Simon said, he is here tf, okay self, calm down and relaxed, he sitted beside me, on the left side.
" hello tita and tito, how are you? " Simon asked, are we not going to move on about asking how we are doing like dzuh, ulit-ulit nalang.
" We are doing okay Simon, how about you, how's your lovelife? " My mom answered, okay here we go to the topic ' love life '.
" I'm doing okay tita, uhmm I don't have girlfriend yet " Simon answered, tf but why!? He should just answered he has a girlfriend already, I think he has an idea naman kung saan pupunta yung topic na to.
" How about you Ivy? Do you have boyfriend already? " tito Bongbong asked, Simon and Sandro looked at me at the same time as well as mom, dad, tito Bongbong & tita Liza, I got pressured lols.
" No, I'm single tito " I answered, my mom will kill me if I said I have a boyfriend and not being honest.
" bat hindi nalang kayong dalawa ni Simon ang magkatuluyan? " tita Liza asked.
" mom, don't pressure Ivy " Simon said, wow, so it's on me now? Thanks for that but that didn't helped me.
" Uhmm, I want to focus on myself first for now tita, my apologies " I answered, I hope we are safe now.
" You both are getting old and you should be married now or else you will get old alone and no one will dare to take care of both of you " Sandro said, wow, coming from the old man that has no girlfriend until now and so busy of being a Governor.
" I am just 22 years old, I am not that too old " I answered sarcastically.
" What I am just saying is, take the opportunity as early as now, baka mawala pa yan, ikaw din, baka magsisi ka " Sandro answered, dzuh, ako magsisisi? Hindi siguro, mas magsisisi pa ako if I will grab the opportunity or should we say the bad luck of marrying Simon?
" Thank you for your suggestion Sandro, maybe I'll think about it " I answered, I hope that will be the last time that he will push me to Simon, I already lied and said to think about it even though my decision is already final, even though I will get old alone, it's fine, I don't care, I can take care of myself.
" let's just eat, our conversation is getting too personal " Simon said, atleast he is honest, maybe he is getting awkwardness too.
We just eated quietly and after a few minutes we've finished eating.
" Excuse me, I'll just use the restroom " I said, I need to retouch myself, I should be looking presentable, not for Simon but for those people who admires me dzuh.
