✮ Chapter Four ✮

Note: I'll have Will and Miles meet in this chapter it'll be ages till they meet if I don't stuff it into a single chapter >_<'

"You can be both" Aunt Kate suggested "I would have to be a vegetarian" "Why is that?" Kate replied quickly and confidently "I can't save animals and then eat them" "Ahh very true" Flora giggled and said "Come on" "W-Wait!" I said while following her quickly

"This maze is very complicated," Flora said while leading me and aunt kate threw "Yeah. it's so big" aunt kate said she sounded breathy "You need to know your way around or you'll get lost," Flora said I was intimidated by the maze it reminded me of the one in the shining the movie was scary but One of my favorites I was never able to watch it alone though too scared " One time I couldn't find my way out and I almost starved to death!" "What!?" Aunt Kate said in a joking matter she must've thought Flora was joking but with the size of the maze I'm not so sure she was. "you and your friends must have a Lotta fun here" I said trying to shift the conversation " I don't have any friends" Flora replied
" When I was your age I didn't have any friends either but then I met my best friend Mike you just need to meet yours," I said I just can't seem to keep the conversation happy each time I speak
Flora has a sad story to tell about just how tragic is her life "Well you might have one now," Aunt Kate said replying to Flora "Maybe.." Flora said jokingly skeptical "All right Ill work for it," Aunt Kate said she and Flora seemed to get along well but I still couldn't stop thinking about miles I haven't even met him yet I'm so interested in him

Aunt Kate and Flora explored more around the mansion while I went to my room where the phone was I was going to call Mike it's my first day and I miss all of my friends so much it made me think "How my going to survive a year without them" I ESPECIALLY missed mike he's been my best friend since kindergarten to be completely honest I've had a crush on him since first grade but I would never tell him that I know exactly what he would say he may not appear to be a homophobic guy but I know deep down he has internalized homophobia AND his girlfriend is my sister I care about her too much to go after mike it would be a break of trust a betrayal I got snapped out of my thoughts by mike picking up the phone

"Hello?" -Michael
"MIKE ITS ME WILL" -William
"Oh. Hi I guess" -Michael
"Is it nice there" -Michael
"Yeah, it's beautiful you need to visit sometime as long as it's okay with Mrs. Grose" -William
"Yeah maybe but anyway I need to go El's calling bye" -Michael

And just like that he hung up
"DINNER" I heard Mrs. Grose yell
As I approached downstairs I smelled that not-bad but not-good smell again Mrs. Grose poured our bowls and said to Flora "Now eat it all up" Flora let out a dramatic gasp I started to eat not wanting to be rude I used my best rich people posture I think Mrs. Grose Appreciated that I had already started eating Because she smiled at me almost in the way she smiles at flora then Aunt kate spoke out of nowhere "I have an idea... What if you and I took a little field trip to go get some ice cream before class started tomorrow" Mrs. Grose frowned again and said "Uh no. Flora doesn't leave the property she has everything she needs here" "What!?" Auntie Kate said shocked Mrs. Grose looked to Flora and said "Don't you darling she prefers my French apple tart with a little bit of cream on the side and you don't have to go anywhere for that. Do you darling no" she said the last part with a condescending chuckle I looked at her and said with a warm smile" well I would love to try your French apple tart sometime it sounds amazing" that seemed to clear most of the air for me at least because she let out another small smile.

I went to my room after and shut off the lights while going under my covers but then I remembered my pills I got up went to the bathroom took them and went back to bed I hated my pills they made me gag every time I took them I had one for sleep one for nightmares and one for anxiety ever since I got kidnapped I needed them the experience messed me up more than others think but still even though I hated them I had to take them 

after I lied down I closed my eyes it usually takes up to 1-2 hours to kick in so I go up to bed early

3-4 hours later
I heard a scream I think it was Aunt Kate I ran as fast as possible until I heard a door rattling I got to it after the rattling had already ceased opened it and saw aunt kate talking to a boy "Who are you" she said terrified I looked at him and noticed he looked exactly like mike almost an exact copy except his facial features were softer looking I saw them talking I think he noticed me but aunt kate hasn't once he left I tapped on her shoulder it scared her a bit but she told me to just go back to bed.
