"I still wonder how u got up the stairs with that ankle" Lisa said to Ryujin.

"I just go up normally?" Ryujin replied.

"Wouldn't that make it worse" Winter said.

"What am I supposed to do then?" Ryujin asked.

"Ask for a room downstairs" Lisa said.

"As if they'd care. They'll probably say something like "oh, u just sprained it, it'll be fine" Ryujin said.

"Yeah they would" Winter laughed.

They headed up to the room, making sure Ryujin doesn't trio on the steps, and immediately changed and plopped on their beds.

Thinking about how much they had to do tomorrow, Ryujin groaned. "Can't we just have another day off?"

"What?" Lisa asked, didn't quite hear the girl properly.

"Nothing" Ryujin replied.

Closing her eyes, she tried to go to sleep. Failing, she rolled around in her bed in an attempt to exhaust her body.

Still failing, she decided to finish her homework that was supposedly due next week.

----

"Wow, u look tired" Lisa said as she saw Ryujin come out of the bathroom.

"Definitely didn't realize" Ryujin responded.

"We're don't have anything to do until 9, where're u going?" Lisa asked as Ryujin was putting her shoes on.

"Breakfast. U want something?" Ryujin replied.

"Nah I'm good" Lisa said. "Don't be late for class"

"I won't"

----

Walking down the streets to her favorite café, she thought about when Lia had dragged her and Yeji to dye their hairs, how they ran away from Lia after they played at the arcade.

She doesn't get to do that often now because of their schedule, but at least they get days off.

The thought of dyeing her hair again never crossed her mind, whenever she went to hair salons, it was always just to cut her hair short. She liked her black short hair.

Entering the café, she quickly ordered her go-to breakfast and found a seat.

Most people that come to this café are from the academy, they would come early in the morning and quickly return after their meal so they wouldn't get scolded. And Ryujin was no different.

The cafeteria food would taste a little weird. They only get good meals there when they switch lunch ladies in the middle of the week. That lunch lady was everyone's favorite. Despite not knowing her, they all look forward to her shift every week.

The waiter placed her order down in front of her on that table.

Thanking him, she dug in.

Checking the time on the clock hung on the wall above the door, she had another 2 hours before their schedule started.

Finishing her meal, she brisk walked back to the academy.

She had it all calculated. The watchman would walk by the front of the academy every 30 minutes. He would walk by the front gate at 7:48 am.

Checking the time again, it was 8:37 am. Another 11 minutes until he reaches the front gate again.

Ryujin hurried her way in, thanking the gods that the security cameras aren't 24 hours and only start recording at 9.

She quietly made her way to her dorm, gently closing the door to not alert anybody.

"Where'd u go?" Winter asked, clearly just woke up.

"Breakfast" She replied.

"And u didn't invite me?" Winter said, sounding offended.

"U wouldn't be able to wake up" Ryujin retorted.

This was a fixed routine for Ryujin. But it seems her friends had woken up earlier than usual today.

She would leave and return before both of them even woke up. Getting caught be Lisa startled her a little earlier, as she usually doesn't wake up before 8:45 am.

She was precise with time. Being stuck with Winter and Lisa exhausts her sometimes, so she would leave when they're sleeping to get some alone time.

"U already showered?" Winter asked.

"Yeah" She replied.

"I'll go then" Winter said and grabbed her clothes.

Everything's a little weird today. Lisa and Winter waking up early, and how the cashier didn't make a funny remark about her outfit like she usually does. Or how there were lesser people at the café today.

Maybe it was just the tiredness getting to her, she thought.

Feeling a little lightheaded, she sat down on her bed, turning her phone on.

She scrolled through her notifications when suddenly, her vision went black.
