"Yes ma'a- I got a full ride to FAMU." he said and I had the biggest smile "Look at youuuu, I'm so proud of you baby"

"Thank you." he smiles shyly "You still doin' football?" I asked him and he nodded "Yes"

"Good, make sure you apply to as many scholarships as you can cause thats free money." I said to him and he nodded

"And don't get into the wrong crowd Erice." I said seriously "I hear you Mo." he said

"Don't just hear me, listen." I said to him "EZ!" a deep voice yelled and he got up "I'm listening." he says giving me a hug

"I love you boy."

"I love you too." he said pulling on my love loc making me smack him before he walked away laughing.

Lord please don't allow him to get in the wrong crowd and make sure he keeps his head on his  shoulders please. In Jesus name.

CiCi and Loni made their ways over to me and laced their skates up trying to convince me to skate as well before they went out there.

That shit look fun though but I'm not bussin' my ass for nobody, sorry.

I lit up my wood and started to watch some of the people form lines where they skated to the music in sync.

A girl pointed toward me and I and I looked around me before pointing to myself and she nodded then skated toward me before landing into the splits

My eyes widen and I could feel my cheeks start to hurt as I smiled. "Aye you like girls?" I asked looking over at her and she laughed

"On the weekends." she says getting up "Shit me too, we already got somethin' in common." I mumbled

"Why you ain't out here skatin'?" she asks "I don't know how. Plus I'm not really into that." I say with a small shrug

"I feel it, you should give it a try though." she suggests "Maybe" I shrugged

"I'm Diamond by the way, it was nice talking to you..?"

"Nemo or Saaby." I said and she nodded "Saaby's cute." she smirks before she skated away

"She lucky it's only Friday, is that considered a weekend?" I asked myself

I took a few more puffs before I realized that shit was burning my fingers.

I felt my phone vibrating in my pocket then I got it out and sat down

"Get a load of this guy." I muttered leaving him on read. I turned my phone off just as someone took it from me.

"I don't even know you to be playing like that." I frowned looking up to a guy who actually did seem familiar

"You don't come to a skating rink and not skate, hell wrong with you?" he frowned back at me "I don't know how to skate dang." I mugged
