KAYLANI WAKES UP, CONFUSED AS TO WHY SHE was in a different room than her own.
She realizes that she's in the hospital because of what happened last night.
Mindy Meeks-Martin, Kaylani's best friend, comes into the room.
"Hey, how are you holding up?" Mindy asks, sitting in the chair that was next to Kaylani's bed.
"I'm fine." Kaylani smiles. "It just hurts. Everywhere."
They chuckle.
"Well, the doctor said you can get out, but you have to have crutches since your foot is broken."
Kaylani groans, "Why? I hate crutches."
"Fine. Then you won't be able to see your best friend who was also attacked."
"Wait," Kaylani says making Mindy turn around with a smirk.
Kaylani rolls her eyes.
"I'll take the crutches."

They both walk into Tara's room where the rest of their friends were.
"Hey, Tee." Kaylani smiles, taking the seat next to Tara's bed.
"Hey, Kay."
Kaylani takes her hand, holding it with sister-love.
A couple minutes later, two people walk in making everyone, except for Tara and Kaylani, stand up.
"Sam?" Kaylani says.
