AT THE CARPENTERS' HOUSE, KAYLANI AND TARA are having a sleepover, watching some movies and playing games.
Now, they were in the kitchen, Tara on her phone texting her friend, Amber Freeman and Kaylani on her laptop applying for some jobs.
Then, the home-phone started ringing making the teenager and young-adult look over.
Kaylani looks over at Tara, "Do you know who that could be?"
Tara shakes her head, "No."
Tara walks up to the phone, declining the call.
The girls went back to their thing.
Tara chuckles at the texts on her phone making Kaylani look over at her with a smile of her own.
Tara grabs her inhaler from the counter, taking a puff of air.
As she does it, the phone starts ringing again making the girls look at each other.
Kaylani rolls her eyes and groans, "Oh, my gosh!"
Tara laughs at her as she texts Amber.
Fucking landline won't stop ringing. - Tara.
Is Wes still bugging you? - Amber.
Tara rolls her eyes as the phone keeps ringing.
She walks up to it and answers, "Hello?"
Kaylani takes her eyes off of her laptop, looking at her teen friend that's talking to the caller.
She watches as Tara walks around the kitchen.
