It's been days and it's time for court let's see how that bastard looks like now
Some police led us the way to the court room and it was huge there were some people as well and saw the jury's box I noticed Lumine, Aether and Doctor Baizhu?
I just shook my head and looked at papa he looked stressed I hold onto his hand he looked at me and smiled softly
They than told me I had to sit by the Jury box since I was also kind of a witness since I saw stuff
Papa and Yanfei sat by the plaintiffs table Yanfei was preparing her things while papa was looking stressed
"Hey don't worry everything is gonna be okay" I turned to my right and it was a male with long blonde hair and green eyes
"Thoma!" I said he just chuckled
"Looks like your in High school?" He said looking at me
"No I'm a second year in college" I said he just let out a oh
"Silence please! The defendant has arrived!" A police officer said and the doors opened everyone looked at the door except Papa he just looks at his hands
Their were 2 police holing onto him he looked cold and had eyebags under his eyes he had handcuffs on than I noticed something his left ring finger was gone is that the reason why he always wore a glove?
He than sat down by the defendant table while his lawyer came and sat next to him than finally the judge came in it was a woman with long white hair and kind of yellow eyes
"Silence please!" The judge said and everyone went silent
"So you tell me that the defendant held the plaintiff in captive and manipulated them for almost 18 years and did horrible things in the past, am I right?" The judge said looking at Yanfei
"Yes your honour" She said the judge let go of the papers and looked again at Yanfei
"Please stand up and tell some of your evidence " The judge said and Yanfei stood up picking up her files
"Thank you your honour" She said and stood up with some paper in her hands
"On 21 april 2005 Zhongli was send to a hospital to be checked on apparently something has popped in him you can see more on the file i send to you" She said the judge than got the hospital papers and read it she than nodded
"Than 2 years later a friend of theirs came and visited them for 2 weeks but apparently he saw strange things happening in the household" She said I than looked at Thoma and he looked terrified
"He than left in a hurry after he witnessed something traumatic apparently what he saw with his own eyes Mr.Tartaglia has been abusing and manipulative to Mr.Zhongli he also witnessed Mr.Zhongli trying to attempt Suicide by falling off a cliff close by the house which he failed" She said everyone started to whisper to each other but the judge ordered silence
"Mr.Tartaglia also did some stuff in the past when he was only in High School he had beaten up a kid in his class and swung a bat to his torso on the left side which broke at least 2 of his ribs he also used a pocket knife to make a huge scar on his face that is at least 2 cm (0,787 inch) long" She said I can't imagine the stuff Aether had to deal with
"The witness broke his fingers a broken nose as well and had a busted lip and a blue eye" She said the judge that turned to the bastard looking at him disgusted
"In 2010 both of the males had adopted a child of the age of 5 who is now here as well in court a few days ago the police got a call from the household telling them that Mr.Tartaglia was trying to kill his own son since he thought he was ruining his 'perfect life' with Mr.Zhongli after a few minutes the police arrived"
"Inside the house was a mess the lights were all off when they headed upstairs it was a mess as well when they finally caught Mr.Tartaglia he was yelling 'He is mine give him to me' after that the police started to investigate the house and found a lot of medical stuff that was supposed to be for Mr.Zhongli's disability but it wasn't"
"Mr.Baizhu who is a doctor and takes care of Mr.Zhongli told us this wasn't for Mr.Zhongli's disability this was a medication that was illegal to give or trade to other people but Mr.Tartaglia somehow has it and he gave it to Mr.Zhongli since his Vessel popped so he gave him this for 18 years he gave him this illegal medication"
"What Mr.Baizhu told me is that this medication prevents you for walking and makes it hard for you to communicate and move your limbs like your hands or fingers if you give the person way to much they will sometimes act how they used to be I think that's what Mr.Thoma and their adoptive son had witnessed they saw the "real" Zhongli I also asked a few questions to Mr.Zhongli he only told the stuff he could remember sadly since his memory is still blank"
"He told me the last thing he saw when his mind became blank was seeing Mr.Tartaglia cutting off his own ring finger and telling him that no other woman could ask him to marry him ever again except Zhongli he also told me when they were kids Mr.Tartaglia poked a fork in his eye ball and trying to give it to Mr.Zhongli since he told him he found his eyes beautiful, that was everything I have" She said the judge thanked her and Yanfei sat back down
"Obje-" The bastards lawyer was about to say something but they got interrupted by the judge itself
"Silence please" The judge said as she slammed her hammer hard which let a ego through the room
