POV of Aarna

It's already late at night when we stepped out of the airplane and took in the familiar sights and smells of Udaipur, After spending so many days in London with Niyati Chachi, who had treated me like her own daughter, coming back to Udaipur felt like a major change.

As we made our way out of the airport, a familiar face caught our eye - Rawat ji, the efficient and loyal Personal Assistant of Dada ji, was already waiting for us with cars. It was as if he had anticipated our arrival and made all the necessary arrangements to ensure our smooth transition back to Udaipur palace.

As we approached the waiting cars, I noticed Rawat ji and Veer sitting in one, and a driver standing by the other car is going to open the door for me. Samarth signaled the driver to pause, and forward to open the car door for me himself.

To be honest, I find Samarth's little habits like this adorable. He never stops himself from doing what he wants to do, and one of those habits is taking care of me. Even if he tries to ignore me, he can't help but worry about my well-being. It's heartwarming to know that he always has my best interests at heart.

As we settled into the car, my attention was immediately drawn to the world outside the window. The quiet night streets of Udaipur, the shimmering waters of the Udaipur lake illuminated by the gentle moonlight - all of it captured my gaze. Suddenly, my focus shifted when I felt Samarth's head rest on my shoulder. He was so exhausted that he had unknowingly leaned on me and dozed off. It was a sweet and unexpected moment, one that made me feel grateful for his presence in my life.

POV end

As the cars pulled up to the courtyard of the palace, Aarna glanced over at Samarth and noticed that he was sleeping like a peaceful child, his head resting on her shoulder. She didn't want to disturb him and was about to wait until he woke up, but when the car came to a stop and nobody moved, Veer appeared and knocked on the back seat window where Aarna was sitting. She lowered the window and looked at Veer with innocent eyes.

Veer smiled seeing Samarth, who was still sleeping soundly. "Come soon," he said teasingly to Aarna, before walking away. Aarna couldn't help but smile at his antics. She looked back at Samarth and gently nudged him, trying to wake him up. But he was sleeping so deeply that he didn't stir, and she found herself struggling to keep him from falling off her shoulder.

Aarna gently tapped Samarth's cheek with her soft hand, trying to wake him up. But it seemed like he was in the middle of a business meeting even in his sleep, just like he always was. Aarna was at a loss as to how to wake up Samarth, but then an idea struck her.

"Samarth, please wake up," Aarna said, showing fake pain in her shoulder. "It's hurting a lot and I can't take it anymore."

As soon as Samarth heard this, he woke up immediately. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to cause you any pain," he said, his voice filled with concern for Aarna. She could sense that even in his sleep, he couldn't bear the thought of causing her any discomfort.
