"Yeah? Yeah! He said yeah! Oh, yeah." Greef Karga chuckled at the child. He turned around and began to walk towards the town.

Even before stepping into the place, I could already tell that it felt different. The atmosphere felt happier, kinder. It didn't feel as rough and violent as it once had. And that filled me with a little bit of hope.

"Yes, come on, yeah. Yeah, look at you." Greef Karga muttered to the child as he walked ahead of us. The three of us began to follow Greef Karga as he continued to talk to him. The child babbled happily in response. I couldn't help but smile.

We entered the town of Nevarro and it looked much different than the last time I saw it. The destruction that had happened due to the empire was completely gone. If you hadn't known that it had happened, you wouldn't think anything had happened here at all. Especially not an attack by the Empire.

People mulled around the Main Street happily. They were smiling and chatting to one another as they walked around the colourful stalls. It was a stark difference from what the place used to be like. It was honestly much nicer, I felt safer here.

"Looks like you two have been busy." Din mused as we walked down the cobbled street.

"I myself have been steeped in clerical work. Marshal Dune here is to be thanked for cleaning up the town." Greef Karga said

"Your ships not lookin' to good." Cara mused. I smiled lightly, that's what happens when a massive spider lands on it after it's crashed several times.

"We had a run-in with the New Republic." Din replied

"And a big spider." I added with an exaggerated shudder that caused Din and Cara to laugh.

"They should leave the Outer Rim alone. If the Empire couldn't settle it, what makes them think they can?" Greef Karga said as we walked towards a very familiar building.

Aside from the colourful canopy that was hung above the entrance, there was no hiding what this building was. The cantina. I automatically raised my hand to hold onto my necklace. Feeling my chest tighten. Din's hand fell on my arm, he gently rubbed it up and down before he let his arm fall back to his side.

"Here we are." Greef Karga announced.

"I'm surprised to see this place is still standing." Din said as Greef and Cara walked towards the entrance.

"Wait till you see inside." Cara said with her arms outstretched as she walked backwards into the building.

I looked over at Din before the two of us stepped inside the cantina, or what once was the cantina.

"Who can name one of the five major trade routes in the galaxy? Anyone?" A female droid's voice said. I looked into the room and my brows raised. There were several desks in rows that were facing towards a protocol droid at the front. She stood in front of a board. The walls were painted with light blue patterns and there were models of planets on what once was the bar. At the desks sat a large group of children.

"How about the Corellian run?" The droid asked the children. I couldn't help the small smile that broke out on my face, it warmed my heart to see that Nevarro finally had a good school.

"The Hydian way?" A boy answered

"Yes, the Hydian way. That is correct." The droid confirmed

"A school?" Din asked with poorly hidden surprise.

"Things have changed a lot around here." Cara replied

"No kidding." I said with a smile.

"We'll leave the little one here so we can talk business." Greef Karga said. I don't know if that's a good idea.
