I warm up for basketball before our game. B team isn't so bad, just not the best... it's ok though.
As I warm up one girl who is on a and b team looks at me and turns to the girl next to her and whispers something. Great, Tailor can't shut up for once.
Tailor is one of the more popular girls and like I said, she's on A and B team. I have nothing she would want other than a healthy relationship.
Also with me being a part of the LGBTQA+ could have something to do with it. I never told anyone on the team I didn't trust.
I keep warming up while she butts in and makes everything about her. I shot and she just took it knowing it was mine. I asked for it back and she ignored me. I asked again making sure to be nice.
She turned to me and looked disgusted with me. She has no room to speak there with looks or in general.
She has blonde hair with brown highlights. Her hair is straight and medium length. She has her shorts to the point you can see lines there. You know what I mean. She has her bra showing and it's not even a sports bra. She asks out like all the boys in my grade too.
It never made sense to me on how I'm worse than her. I was simple.
Brown short hair to my shoulders. I had bangs at the time. My shorts were baggy and I had a sports bra the was hardy shown to where you had to really look to see it.
Later in the game I was playing post when the sent her to be post with me. She tried to take all the glory and make her look good.
She had no clue how to play post. She said the coaches told her to be main post. I'm main post if it's me and her. So I knew she was lying.
I called her out for bullying and for lying and my coaches looked at me and said we need to get along or I'm gone.
I sat in shock. Why would I have to leave? No, why should I? I'm not the only one she treats like this! I shut my mouth and tried to ignore her.
It got worse to where I was thinking about quitting basketball forever.
I didn't and I know not to give up because of the people there. I'll stand up for myself. If I get in trouble screw them! I'm there for me, my joy, and my entertainment.
