Nature carry me away

Outside my window, the trees and bushes play.

Inside that window I am here to stay.

Wind scrapes the house it will soon slay.

It whips and wails approaching its prey.

Repeating and repeating are these days.

The great sickness shocks in waves.

Help me find peace in this pain.

Let the storm arrive, come here rain.

Are you confused? I will explain.

I wish to return to nature again.

I miss the river that calls my name

It sounds so silly, it sounds so strange.

I wish to return to my domain.

It's beauty is more than it seems

More than animals, more than trees.

The urgency floods my veins.

Allow me into nature again.
