Chimera [Day 21 - Overwhelmed]

Now do you stop to wonder why, your life has been dealt a blow

You end up reeling from, endlessly denying?

Overwhelmed by the quagmire of your existence,

You wished to turn back time, to make wrongs right,

To escape from this never-ending nightmare.

Listen well, for I will tell you only once, before your eyes turn to glass

And a sigh escapes your lips one last time—

I am the death dealer, the quicksand, the horror you created

Out of the 'kindness' of your soul, as I descended into madness.

I am the chimera of your dreams incarnate!
