Dummy Pt 1 (Osano x Reader) ♡

Hold on, why the hell is Raibaru eavesdropping on this conversation as well? This isn't some eavesdropping club, Raibaru.

"Wait...What...? Are you... Serious...?! Okay. Okay, fine! I won't call the police. Look, this is a bad time for me. We'll talk about this later. Just... Don't do anything rash, okay?" Osano hangs up afterwards, his arms fall to his sides and his eyes are staring at floor intensely, he looks so defeated. Y/n quickly rushes away since she doesn't want to seem like some weirdo listening to his conversation, well she did eavesdrop but she's certainly not one of those weird girls, "Ugh... Why did something like this have to happen..." She overheard Osano as she rushed off to class.

Y/n tries to ignore what she heard but curiosity is biting her from the inside out and that's all she could think about the entire lesson, "What!? You can't figure out this simple problem? What are you some stupid idiot!? Tch! I can't believe I'm in the same class as you!" Osano spoke to Y/n, not noticing that it was really just some one way conversation. She's not really listening till he smacks her head with the paper they are supposed to be working through together, "Here, just copy my answers. Don't get the wrong idea! Hmph! You dummy! It's not like I want to help you or anything! I just don't want the teacher to give me a bad grade for your laziness!" In reality, Y/n knows she's only getting his answers because she let him borrow her pen. "You're such a dummy!"

She spaced out for most of the time Osano was speaking, she wants to know more about the person on the other end off the phone so badly. But, she can't just ask him straight up, maybe she can find out more about this person.

"I saw you and Osano bickering back and forth like some old married couple in class, maybe your bratty baka boy is truly your soulmate." Saki says, punching Y/n lightly on the shoulder with a grin, Y/n scoffs at the accusation and walks alongside Saki to the rooftop. "I doubt that highly, don't you have a classroom to sweep?" Y/n replies bitterly, it's cleaning time so everyone has to clean up the school before they can leave. "I see, you want more time to see your charming baka. It's okay you can give him a big smooch, enjoy, I'm going to go find Kokona." Saki spoke, making a U-turn and heading back downstairs.

Y/n sees Osano speaking to Raibaru and she definitely has to listen in to the conversation, "I'm sorry, Osano, but... I overheard your phone call earlier today. You sounded really upset... Is something wrong?" Raibaru asks softly, Y/n doesn't know if it's just her that got the impression that something clearly is wrong if Osano was going to call the police on this person. Raibaru is just as clueless as Osano, it's pretty clear that 'something was wrong' and obviously he isn't okay. Maybe it's a good thing Raibaru quit Martial art's because it's clearly been knocking out some of her brain cells, not that there was much in there to begin with.
"I... Well... Yeah... I do have a problem, but... I'm not really sure if you'd be able to help me..." Osano answers, yeah, Raibaru can help you Osano have you seen the way she use to slam people to the floor in martial arts.

Y/n occasionally strolled past the Martial art's room, and she remembers seeing Raibaru brutally slamming some poor guy into the floor like it was nothing, "Please... tell me what's wrong. I'll listen." Raibaru pleads, wasn't Raibaru listening enough when she was eavesdropping earlier and she still doesn't get the jist of what's going on? "A few days ago, in Shisuta Town, this weird girl approached me and started flirting with me...She was really creepy and gross, and I wasn't interested in her at all... It took forever to make her leave me alone... The next day, I started getting text messages from her... Even though I never gave her my number! The worst part is, she keeps texting me pictures she's taken of me... It's like she's just been following me around snapping photos off me all day!" Osano says, Y/n feels so bad for him, that must be a scary experience, she wants to help him as much as she can.

"You've got a stalker?! Oh my god, that's horrible! You need to tell the police before she does something bad!" Raibaru answers, with a shocked tone at what she's just heard, she looks wide eyed and appalled. "No! I can't do that! He told me that if I go to the police, she'll... She'll..." Osano begins to cry slightly, he furiously rubs away his tears with his sleeve.
"What? What will he do?" Raibaru questions, Osano folds his arms, gently shaking his head at Raibaru's words. "I...I don't want to tell you, but... Calling the police is not an option!" Osano tells her, with glossy eyes.

"What is it? Is he blackmailing you? Are you... Hiding some kind of secret?" Raibaru interrogates, that's not the best thing to tell someone that's scared for their life and your response is 'are you hiding some kind of secret'. The only thing Raibaru is seemingly good at is using her physical strength and not her words because that is not the approach you take when talking to someone about this. "No, it's nothing like that..." Osano answers, weakly.
"Osano, I try to avoid talking about this... But I'm actually very strong. If you tell me who is doing this to you, I'll stop them." Raibaru says bravely, that's nice and all but you wouldn't know if the person stalking Osano is armed and
a knife or a gun is always going to win over physical strength, Y/n thinks.

"What...? No! I don't want you to get involved! Look, I appreciate your concern, but...Please... Just... Let me deal with this myself." Osano speaks, look Raibaru right in the eyes. "If you say so... But, now I'm really worried." Raibaru sighs in defeat, well who told her to eavesdrop anyways, Y/n scoffs quietly to herself. Y/n is too caught up in her Raibaru rant that she sees them both moving away from the balcony on the rooftop so now it's gonna look obvious that she was listening, "Hey Osano, just the person I was looking for. Do you have any task or anything I could do for you? I feel like we got off on the wrong foot." Y/n says in an unusually jovial tone.

She can feel Raibaru staring into her soul.

This is the first time she truly felt fear.

"That's right you better be grateful for MY help in class. Hmph!" Osano literally says, hmph after wards, while refusing to meet her gaze, "Now that you mention it, yeah- there is something I need help with. But I don't think a dummy like you can help but... I lost my phone charm - it's the shape of a cat. I know that I lost it somewhere in the hedge maze - but I don't want to go back in there. It's scary! I'm worried I'll get lost and be stuck in there for hours... I feel bad for asking, but would you be willing to go into the hedge maze and get my phone charm for me?" Osano asks, Y/n represses her sigh, why didn't she just try run away when she had the chance. She's going to get lost in a maze just for some measly charm that she might step on while looking for it.

"Sure." Y/n says in a monotone voice, while nodding.

"Really? You'll do it? You're a lot more brave than I am! Good luck! I mean... Good luck I guess... Baka." Osano beams, with a smile on his face. Y/n is now lost in a maze, going round and round and round, "I swear I've been here before-" Y/n mumbles, but is cut off by her foot stepping on something, she takes her foot off it and sees some ugly charm. This must be it. "Oh my gosh! You actually found it! Wow- that's amazing! Thank you so much!"  Osano smiles, Y/n nods and rushes off to sit down on a bench.

"There you are Y/n! Where have you been Y/n?" Kokona asks, sitting next to Y/n. "I've been busy but I need to get Osano to tell me about the stalker he has." Y/n whispers in Kokona's ear, because she wouldn't want her sister to overhear this. Kokona's eyes widened, "Oh! I didn't know that was happening to Osano, maybe you can send him a note?" Kokona suggests, sounding extremely unsure but Y/n nods as Kokona talks. "That's a good idea thanks Kokona-" Y/n runs off to Osano's locker, pulling a piece of scrap paper out of her pocket and jotting down some note about blackmail before shoving it in Osano's locker.

Y/n approaches, Osano and briefly hears Osano's conversation, "Why doesn't Senpai talk to me anymore..." Osano sighs, while Raibaru comforted him.

"Hey, I saw somebody put a note in your locker..." Y/n casually lies.
"Really? That's weird... I guess I'll go take a look then." Osano answers, before rushing off to his locker, "Huh? What's this? Maybe I should go meet them." Osano mumbles, but loud enough for Y/n to hear from the pillar she's hiding behind. Perfect! Her plan is now in action.
