Y/N and Isagi's next trip was by far the longest, as it stretched for over three days of travel.

They both barely spoke a word to one another due to the steady exhaustion they were experiencing. Sure, they made stops to get rest but this didn't really do much for them.

The princess lives in the southern part of the nation and was currently heading north so not only was the trip long but she was also going to be entering a completely new terrain. Everything from the decreasing temperature to the ice roadways they took was foreign to her.

Even looking outside the carriage window proved to be difficult as the only thing they could see was blankets of snow that appeared to stretch for miles and miles. The road they took went from bumpy due to the small pebbles scattered around, to smooth and slippery because of the thin layers of ice they occasionally crossed over.
