Chapter 16

I sent a text to the boys and the girl letting them know that I am taking Anastasia back home but I am sure they would have seen me taking her like the rest of the club

I am sitting in my Ferrari 488 with Anastasia sitting besides me in the passengers seat with her head on the window

I decided to take my car today because i wanted to have my own time without anyone being there in my space

Plus driving a sports care always gives you some thrill

Even if Anastasia does not make her presence known to me in the house, i am always tense because i know that she is there

So having a drive to myself was what i needed but i guess that my peace for today was cut short with Anastasia getting drunk

Getting her into the car it self was a huge task for me with her missed matched footing and her mumbling

But once we had her settled inside my car and she let out a hug dramatic gasp and said

"Oh my god she is so pretty" with a pout on her lips as if she was taking about a baby not a car

She latter added "She is too good for you!" as she gave me a side eye and let out a huff

If i was not irritated as i was from the scenes in the club i would have found this situation funny ,but right now i did not

And now with her besides me i reach across the console and pull the seat-beat and fasten it around her

Once I make sure her seat belt is fastened I start driving towards my house

I don't know what happened out there today with me ,I never felt what I felt in there

I mean seeing Anastasia with that guy just made me what to punch the shit out of  him ,and that was unusual for me to get that feeling

I don't know why I was feeling protective of her but I was

Maybe it was more than you being protective . A voice said in my head but I ignored it

I just want to get home and sleep this night off

I drive us home and Anastasia is still asleep and it looks like she won't be waking up anytime soon

So I get out of my seat and then carefully her door and unbuckle her seatbelt

And I take a second to catch my breath and looks at her with her head tilted towards me see looks so peaceful

She has that pureness that I once had when I was a kid which was ripped away from me

It's very rare to see someone so pure and innocent as her getting involved in our lives

Everyone who is in this gang or in this life has lost their pureness

Just thinking more about it ,it doesn't feel good that we have dragged her into this mess
