• CHAPTER 3 •

           Meeting everyone

Beep beep beep

I woke up to the sound of my beeping alarm, I turned it off and then got up from my bed

"Time to get ready!" I said, feeling motivated, I'm going to meet the rest of my neighbors with Wally's help

I can't help but get a little shy when meeting new people, but I'll get comfortable once I know them well, depends on the person

I headed downstairs to the kitchen to prepare some food for the picnic but then I realized something

"How many people, exactly?" I said to myself

"Eh, I'll just prepare many foods, idc" I shrugged

After about 30 minutes of preparing delicious food and snack, the next step is to shower

I glanced at the clock on the wall and the time is 8:04 AM

I walked into my bathroom, took my clothes off, then stepped in the shower, I turned the shower on then the warm water slid down my (skin color) body

I then shampooed my hair, and scrub my whole body with soap then brushed my teeth clean

After I finished taking a shower, I dried myself with a towel, drying both my body and (color)(length) hair

I wore my comfortable (clothes) and a pair of (color) shoes that matches what I'm wearing

I looked at the time and it was now 8:39

I grab my wallet, watch, and cellphone
After that, I brushed my hair and fixed myself in the mirror

I grabbed the basket full of snacks and food, after I was sure that I wasn't missing anything and everything was ready, I exited my house then saw Wally already waiting for me

"Good morning Wally" (Y/N) greeted Wally with a soft smile

"Good morning to you too, neighbor" Wally smiled back although he was already smiling

"You're quite an early bird, aren't you?" (Y/N) joked while chuckling

"Perhaps I got too excited to introduce you to everyone" Wally admitted

"Well, let's go, shall we?" Wally offered the lead as he was aware that (Y/N) is still new and doesn't know where the park is

"Alright let's go" (Y/N) Replied

They were now walking together heading to their destination

Wally noticed the basket hanging on  (Y/N)'s arm

"Dear neighbor, let me carry that for you" Wally offered, (Y/N) tried to say he was ok but Wally insisted and gently took the basket from (Y/N)'s arm

(Y/N) Was touch hearted at Wally's gentleness and politeness

'What a gentleman' (Y/N) thought

"Thank you so much for carrying the basket for me Wally" (Y/N) thanked

"You're welcome neighbor, it's not a problem at all, I would take the honor to help my lovely neighbor anytime" Wally spoke sweetly

'Lovely? Am I His lovely- wait no! Stop it Y/N! Wally is probably just being nice, nothing more!' I thought to myself

"Are you alright neighbor? You look red, are you having a fever or a heatstroke?" Wally asked concerned

"E-Eh? I'm totally fine! I'm sorry for making you worry" (Y/N) apologized

"Alright... If you say so. Oh look, we're almost in the Park neighbor!" Wally beams excitedly

"Ah.. I don't know Wally.. I'm starting to get nervous. Are you sure they'll like me?" (Y/N) asked nervously

"I am certainly sure they'll like you, neighbor! They like me, so they'll like you too" Wally assured

"Hehe, thanks Wally, and thanks for helping me, I truly appreciate it" (Y/N) said, generally thankful

"Likewise, I'll help you out anytime" Wally continued

They soon reached the picnic where a lot of "people" were gathered, sitting on the red and white big blanket, enough for all the people in the neighborhood to fit, laughing and chatting and there were about 8 of them

They then spotted you and Wally

"Wally! You're finally here! Who's that?" a blond girl said

Wally sat on the blanket and patted a spot next to him, gesturing you to sit down next to him, which you did

All eyes were on you now, and it was making you nervous and uncomfortable

Wally then cleared his throat

"Ahem, everyone, this is our new neighbor, neighbor, please introduce yourself," Wally asked encouraging

"I- hello everyone! M-my name is (Y/N) (L/N), it's a pleasure to meet you all!" you slightly cursed yourself for stuttering

"And now, everyone, who wants to introduce themselves first?" Wally asked

"Ooh! Me! I want to introduce myself first!" The girl with blond hair shouted excitingly raising and waving her hand higher than she could

"I'm Julie Joyful! It's a pleasure to meet you, (Y/N)!" Julie smiled brightly

"I'm howdy pillar, it's nice to meet you, (Y/N)" Howdy waved with his four arms

"Poppy Patridge!" Poppy said while grinning

"I'm Sally Starlight, I smile brightly Like the sun!" Sally giggled

"Barnaby B. Beagle, Nice to meet you, friend"

"Eddie Dear" Eddie waved shyly

"..Frank Frankly" Frank said whilst crossing his arms

And lastly

"Wally Darling, Your best friend, and fellow neighbor" Wally Smiled
