Shehnaaz kept her bag on table of corridor as she made her way inside living room after coming back from very tiring day. She was prepared for this medical days but still these gets sometimes more tiring and unbearable that she just feel she's losing her mind
Their professors are also very rude and strict which made her more hard for her but this is her dream career so she can't help but bear with these things if she wants to be labelled as doctor. She glanced at her phone which's battery died since she didn't charge it before going to sleep, she put her phone in pocket of her lab coat
She was wearing one of the clothes she bought other day and as he asked her to layer it she has been wearing lab coat over and hasn't taken off since it hides her figure
She opened door of living room and was ready to call her father and tell him that she has recalled but she halt looking at some people sitting in living area of their house with her father
Her father looks hella serious with his hands intertwined and rested against his mouth as he listens to man in in front of him. His voice sounds awfully familiar to Shehnaaz, she can't see their faces because their back was facing her, she also couldn't make much out of conversation they were having as she just came
"Shehnaaz idhar ayo" Her father's voice made her take few steps and get near sofas. Her father was very silent
Shehnaaz's face turned pale when she saw parents of her boyfriend. Mr and Mrs gabol sitting in her living room looking very presentable, she can't describe feeling she was having. Her hands were getting sweaty and mind went blank, she can't process what's going on and what are they doing here at her house
Mrs gabol gave her small smile but Shehnaaz didn't react. She's terrified and glanced at her father who also looked at her
"Tum janti ho inko Shehnaaz?" Alam asked his daughter
"N-nahi" Shehnaaz's voice came barely as whisper
Alam looks satisfied by answer of his daughter and nodded his head. Mr and Mrs gabol also didn't mind much since they can understand situation this girl is in and they assumed by this that Sidharth hasn't told her anything about rishta thing
"Yeh tumhara rishta apne bete ke liye lekr aye hain Sidharth gabol ke liye" Alam explained his daughter while her heart was pounding
"Tum inke bete ko janti ho?" He asked, Shehnaaz shook her head with visible tears in her eyes
"Toh agar mein mana krdu toh tumhe koi atraaz toh nahi" Her father asked
Shehnaaz looked at him than at his parents, Mr gabol clenched his fist clearly being offended by rejection but didn't say anything while Mrs gabol's face drop and she looks upsets. She stayed silent as tear escape her eyes. Alam looked at his daughter with firm expressions when he realised she's lying to him. No one cries over rejecting random rishta
"Koi atraaz hai?" He asked again with firmness in his eyes
"Nahi" She says
"Reason kya hai Mr qureshi? Kharabi kya hai mere bete mein?" Mr gabol raised his voice. Mrs gabol slightly wide her eyes and hold his hand knowing this will go wrong if her husband didn't keep his temper in check
