Chapter VIII - For you, My father.

Moegi's POV

A small ball dropped on the floor.

We both stared and it.

It started to flicker and beep. Then finally I realized.

Moegi: Reina! Duck for cover! It's a Bomb!

Reina: What The Fudge?!

Both me and Reina ran for cover. But we couldn't escape. There was this impenetrable barrier around the area.

Negara laughed evily and looked with pitiful eyes at us.

Negara: So much for being the Fourth Primogenitor's daughters!

The bomb exploded and we both jumped. But we couldn't get away.

All I could hear is the Nuclear after effect. One high pitch continuing to break my mind.

I looked at Reina with a dizzy and fuzzy vision. She was partly unconscious and bleeding. Blood dripped from the side of her head as she rests peacefully on the ground.

I tried to speak and reach her.

Moegi: R-Reina!

Reina: Ngnn....

Then suddenly Negara stepped in front of me.

Negara: Uh-Oh. Looks like your sister's hurt.

Moegi: Please! Go away!

Negara: No. Play with me!

I tried to slap Negara, But he just held my hand on the way to his face.

Negara: You little.....

Negara clutched my throat and strangled me

Negara: You! This is what you deserve for disrespecting me!

I clutched his arms, Trying to break free.

A split second..Then... *Spwhak*

Kojou: Get away from my Daughter!

Negara got pushed away and I got helped by Yukina.

Yukina: I told you both to be careful!

Aunt Sayaka picked up Reina and carried her to a safe place.

Negara: I-I don't get it! How?! there was a barrier!

Kojou: I think you've met Regulus Aurum, My strongest Familiar.

Negara: Ah!

Negara screamed and tried to run away, But Dad summoned Al-nasl Minium in front of Negara.

Kojou: Hey Moegi. Try using the Sword Yukina gave you.

I grab the sword from the Weapon cast and lifted it

Moegi: It's not So easy Dad!

Kojou: Don't try to carry the weight! Try to balance it!

Moegi: I don't get it!

Dad kept stopping Negara as I tried to balance the Sword.

Moegi: Oh My Fudging Gosh! I can't even carry this gigantic thing!

Yukina stared a glare at me and shouted.

Yukina: Try to recall everything I taught you!

I focused and every picture flashed into my mind. Then I remembered. "Balance. Dont force yourself."

Then my arms automatically adjusted to the sword.

Moegi: Hey! I'm getting the hang of this!

I charged at the now confused Negara and tried to stab him. But he dodged in time, But Dad hit his shoulder with his familiar. He squealed in pain and dropped to his knees.

Negara: H-How Could you?!

Then Dad ran after him,

A split second before Dad could manage to grab him, He teleported to the nearby forest and shouted

Negara: I'm Sorry My Father! I have failed you!

I was shocked and went off guard.

Negara: I swear! I just swear I will make you pay! Just you wait!

He vanished in thin air and left behind pools of blood.
