run ( newt) pt 2

We semi ran since I was weak and could really and I was loosing feeling in my arm but letta had put a bandage around it to stop its bleeding to a degree.

"Letty how much longer''

"Were almost there okay"

Then she pulled us into a little storage room I suppose.

"Letta what are we doing"

"Getting you a better bandage"

And that she did, she got a better bandage that almost stopped the bleeding. We both had blood on our hands we looked up at each other and laughed. 'We look like we've committed murder", Letta said through a fit of laugher.

"yes it defiantly does"

"We should get going who's knows what they'll do to your friends", Letta said.

" yes we have to go before they find us too"

So we walked quietly and quickly through the halls I was a bit stronger now because the bleeding had stopped. We ran past maze D, there was no one there then we ran pat maze C I stopped at the door almost wanting to open it.

"Hey y/n were almost there. Y/n?"

"There all gone", I said tears prickling my eyes.

"Hey y/n, it's okay", Letta said reassuringly. "But we have to go now", she said then grabbed my hand pulling me away from the door. We ran past maze B and finished at maze A

"They should be in here there are some bunks'' .We walked in but there was no one there.

"Their not here", letty said sounding defeated.

"But I think I might now where they are"

"Wait what?"

"Just follow me"

I ran to where I had gotten well ah tortured. I had Janson before he brought me in talking to someone before. We ran into the room there was blood on the floor and some glass I reckon it had to be one way glass.

"Come on Letta", I said picking up a chair

"Wait what are you doing", Letta asked concern raising in her voice.

"What does it look like", I said turning to her.

"Your no seriously gonna smash the glass are you"

"Well of course not'', She sighed in relief.

"Your helping", I said smiling innocently

"No y/n"

"Yes y/n", I said then hit the chair against the glass.

"Oh my god", Letta sighed and picked up a chair. We hit the glass again and again then smash and just to my expectations there they were the 4 boys standing there shocked expressions on all their faces.

Newts pov

We were standing there, well actually to be exact, I was pacing around the room, thomas and fry were sitting on the floor and Minho was leaning against the wall 

"Newt stop pacing", thomas said.

"No"

"Newt relax I'm sure she'll be fine"

"BE-", I started. Then something banged. We all looked at the glass and saw y/n with a stool in her hand and another girl talking to y/n well she was almost lecturing her then bang y/n hit the glass with the stool then the other girl hit the glass at the same time. Smash. The glass broke, we looked at her in disbelief she smiled.

"shit y/n", the girl said next to her.

"Hi", y/n said smiling.

Before we could say anything else an alarm went off. "We gotta go y/n/n", the girl said to y/n. We all stepped through the broken window and ran. The girl with y/n ran in front then y/n then the rest of us.

"If we make it into the scorch we can leave them stranded", y/n's friend called out.

We picked up our pace, my left leg was burning but I wasn't planning on complaining because y/n had just been through hell. We made it through the main vault door and out in the scorch. Y/n and the other girl led us into the scorch and under a old building, y/n started a fire and we all sat down.

"So who are you?", thomas asked pointing towards the new girl.

"Oh right I'm Letta, hi there", she said smiling.

"So how do you two know each other?", thomas asked.

"Well y/n was in my maze", Letta said throwing a stick into the fire.

Then y/n walked away and up to the top of a near by sand dune, she walked along it until she was out of sight. I stood up and followed her; I followed her footsteps and saw her standing there crossed armed her hair blowing in the wind.

''hey'', i said drawing her attention. I walked up next to her.

''oh um hi'', she said in shock, i don't think she thought anyone would follow her.

I looked at her, bits of her skin spotted in blood stain and Goosebumps forming on her legs and arms.

''here'', i said handing her my jumper.

''oh no its fine newt'', she said.

''no no i insist''

She took the jumper and put it on, she smiled.

''warmer now?'', i asked.

''yes'', she said beaming then she sat down,  ''sit down'', she said patting the sand.

then she sighed.

''do you think we will ever escape WCKD'', she asked.

''i don't know- maybe one day'', i said.

Then y/n out her head on my shoulder and looked up at me.
''you have nice eyes''

''you think'', i asked.

''i know, they are a chocolate brown with flakes of light brown you have freckled cheeks and you have messy blonde hair with bits of dark blonde and-'', shut her up.

By kissing her.
She pulled away and looked at me.
Did i make the wrong decision 

Then she cupped my cheeks and kissed me this kiss lasted longer, her lips were soft, warm, gentle. My hands rested on her lower back as hers stayed on my cheeks. She pulled away again and rested her head in the crook of my neck i pulled her so she was leaning against my chest.
Her breathing was quiet, i looked down at her to see her eyes flutter shut.

''hey you can't go to sleep now'', i said patting her hair.
she opened her eyes and looked at me.

''yes we can'', she said then closed her eyes again.
I reclined myself so i was laying on my back, y/n's head was now on my chest not on my shoulder.

''night newt'', she mumbled.

''night y/n'', i said, kissed her forehead and closed my eyes.
